This games is interesting, and I’d give it 5 stars if the app just stayed connected. I have no problem with connectivity or service but the game disconnects from the server (I dictated by a Wi-Fi icon in app) multiple times a day. When it disconnects, it also loses any game you were playing and you have to restart blank. I’ve had this happen to at least 30% of the games.

The scoring and some of the mechanics are different than the original board game. It is near impossible to win a solo game on easy. Even the AI opponents have to use all their tokens to win a game. Each time I play solo mode, I rarely draft the color tiles I need to use tool cards or to complete objectives. Seems a little bit buggy. I’ll stick with the board game.

I like the idea of this game but I don’t like that it keeps freezing up. I will get a window almost finished and then I have to close the game because nothing can be selected.

This game has beautiful graphics! It also has a great deal of strategy that makes the game addictive. It is very easy to learn, and difficult to master.

This is a GREAT game when it works. Very challenging and fun to compete with friends. The challenge lately is the game is disconnecting from the server on a regular (almost daily) basis. Frustrating and wouldn’t be a big deal if you weren’t limited to five plays per day that contributed to the daily leaderboard. This issue didn’t used to happen so something has changed contributing to the current issue.

Bare bones version of the base game, there have been 3 expansions for the physical game not counting the new Artisans Legacy game. I’ve had this app for several years and still can’t get through a single 5 play daily challenge without crashing and losing my progress. Dire Wolf Digital must be in Dire Straights in terms of development staff and/or know how. Why would I want to buy Root or Dune imperium digitally? I have zero confidence I their ability to maintain let alone improve this app! Uninstalled! It REALLY pains me to say this.

Love the game, I just wish the expansions were here. I actually played this before getting the physical version, and having the expansions adds so much to the game. It’s nice having a digital version, but I miss all of that content! Overall, it’s a great game nonetheless.

I’ve enjoyed this app for a long time, but lately it’s started having problems staying connected to the internet. That means it will kick me out of a game after I’ve sunk 10 min into it, and prevent me from making the leaderboard. Very frustrating.

Great game, lots of fun. The only problem is you get five shots at the daily challenge and it disconnects constantly messing up at least four of them. I have super fast internet with no other connection issues.

Very good implementation, but the disconnects during the daily challenge are very demoralizing. Other than that, I wish there was content that is available for the board game - 4 expansions and promos.
