If it takes too long to complete, inventory is blanked and you have to start all over again. Fuel info not available, only batteries. If you’ve got a problem at sea, I don’t think logging it in an app is a very efficient way to solve it quickly. A call is much more efficient. The notifications you get are quite intrusive : “you are sailing too early in the morning”; “there’s too much wind, you should consider going back to harbour”... At the end of the day, it’s the charterer that benefits from this I suppose, as they can track everything you do.

I used the Sailsense App during my last sailing trip in Martinique and I loved it. - I was able to do the check-in on my phone - I did my logbook with the App and to share my sailing trips with my friends on social media - I received real-time navigation alerts during my trip

This app helps me keep an eye on my boat while away thanks to my Sailsense Hub interface with my boat’s systems (batteries, nav instruments,...), but also gives me advice and support on maintenance and navigation. It however currently lacks a true trip planner..
