Love my personalised offers! Easy to use with the occasional tech issues. If Sainsbury’s can offer e-receipt as well for SmartShop that would be great!

The app allows you to do your shopping quite smoothly. There some usage issues that would make it even better. 1 allow the “shopping list” to be integrated with the scanning process. E.g choose milk from the list and then scan the item. 2 allow the scan button to be moved around the screen, for ease of use. 3 Add a checkout button so that any items remaining on the “shopping list” can be pointed out.

Between setting up the app, which took 3 goes at resetting a password, and using the app I spent an hour doing what I could do in 10 minutes by conventional means, and going to a till with a human sitting behind it. I won’t bother trying to use this app based method again.

The actual app works perfectly well, however there are a couple of UI issues which let the overall experience down. When you switch from your list back to your shop within the store, the time it takes to switch between those pages even on a brand-new iPhone 15+ is ridiculous. The scan button also takes too long to load when switching pages. It seems to want to finish a pleasant enough animation of “bouncing back into place”, however this makes you stab at the button pointlessly until it is finished animating. The scan button itself would benefit from being made the full width of the screen.

Was happy until it stopped working when I got got my iPhone 15pro Been at Sainsbury’s for 3 months and getting no where. Just getting passed around and promised reply in 72 hours with no response

This takes up my time . Why get scanned again

I always use this app and today it didn’t even work, couldn’t use my nectar points, it kept saying I need to register my card, which by the way is registered, I was really upset

I can not pay with vouchers. My local store has no machines that work with not-so-Smart Shop so I can not pay with vouchers. Add this feature to the app or install better in-store machines everywhere.

Please add the app to dynamic Ireland so when the phone locked during shopping only a single click and and scan camera would be active. Thanks loving the app!!

When you loaded everything into basket and want to scan them, the app will fail you anytime. Wasting my time.
