SALT - Christian Dating App

I was Salt almost for 2 years and only been on 2 dates. I don’t know if it’s the features of the app or the men but I would like to make some suggestions: 1) Include better notifications i.e. have something similar to a messaging notification, the number of messages received. Someone like myself I don’t reply to messages straight away. 2) Remove dead profiles. I would get matches, however as a woman I do want the men to make the first move, and most can’t even do that. Some I have messaged and no response. Have a 3/6 months check in tool to check if people are actually active on the app. If there is no response, remove the profile. I taken a break from online dating apps, going through dating fatigue. Hopefully during the break I can find out more things about myself. Also with online dating I found that I would get a lot of matches, but majority of guys would not send the first message hence I believe that some of the profiles are not active. Again I don’t know if it’s the app is not showing people on their end the potential matches.

Says I need to make changes to my account to be able to meet new people, and to go to the help centre only to be met by a bot who doesn’t answer anything. Why can nobody get Christian dating right? What a real shame.

I was subjected to a whole weekend of relentless abuse by a man on this app, who was adamant to find any way he could of insulting me. When I complained to Salt, they didn’t bother looking into it, or even replying to my email. Would not recommend this unsafe, unmoderated app. 0/10.

Depois de pouco tempo eles não enviam novos perfis, são poucos os que aparecem e sempre repetidos, na verdade o app está te forçando a comprar outros produtos q eles vendem prometendo te mostrar pra mais pessoas, mas é tudo besteira e enganação, vale a pena fazer o gratuito e participar do rede social dentro dele mas ela não te permite se conectar com ninguém é mais entretenimento cristão. Tem muito cristão, mas o próprio aplicativo não entrega o seu perfil pra quase ninguém e nem te mostra se não pagar mais e mais. Não gostei da experiência.

For a Christian dating app, they try and charge you for everything. Feels like a waste of time

They’re only interested in selling extras. When you like someone you, only show up as a blurred match profile which they’ll have to pay to see. As will you to see your likes. Even if you swipe past a profile they keep them in your blurred like stack missing selling the number of matches you may have. For a Christian site it all feels very dishonest.

They only let you view 30 profiles a day and it’s random profiles because they don’t even give you much filters. You have to pay to see more people. Which as a Christian app why do they want us to spend so much money. Is the money going to charity? Don’t waste your time with this ap you will surely delete it

Love using this app it’s a great way to meet other Christians. Love their table discussions held every week where they bring different topics for discussion and also they have speed dating events which are amazing.

I was shocked at how wholesome this app is. When you match with someone, you really feel like you’re connecting with the person as a human being not as an object. Very well designed app!
