SampleTank 2 for iOS is a professional, fully featured mobile sound and groove workstation that brings the sound, power and features of desktop virtual instruments to your iPad and iPhone — without compromise. It is designed for professional live performance, song composition and puts a comprehensive array of world-class instruments, sounds and patterns right at your fingertips.
SampleTank gives you 8 multitimbral instrument slots that you can easily layer or split. Choose from a comprehensive, expandable sound collection that covers virtually every acoustic and electronic sound imaginable. Plus, each instrument category includes instrument riffs and grooves so you can start composing and playing in no time.
The included instruments and the new sound engine are derived from the desktop version of SampleTank, IK's flagship workstation, offering you unmatched realism, variety of sound and audio performance. For the first time on iOS, thousands of professional sample-based sounds and patterns can be easily accessed, layered and used for playing live or in the studio.

It doesn’t work on iOS 14
Wonder why I gave 1 star? Because it’s not possible to give 0. It just doesn’t work so it’s worthless, it’s a waste of money. I mean you can touch anything on the screen but nothing happens at all. Before you may ask: yes, it used to work before the update.
Fantasztikus hangok
Fantasztikus hangkollekcio, ebben messze veri a GarageBandet. A négy csillag azért van, mert nincs benne AudioCopy/Paste. Emiatt körülményes (nem lehetetlen, csak körülményes) a megalkotott számok importálása (pl GarageBandbe). Viszont már magukért a fúvósokért (trombita, saxi) megéri megvenni!!!
Hopes for New version of sampletank in the future
Hello developers my name is Jonavin I thank you guys for updating sampletank for the ipad on iOS. I have been a yearly user of it and I really liike it but on the other hand I have a question would there be any possibility of you guys making another version of sampletank for the iPad in the future if there is any plans for a sampletank 5? Thanks
Wish it was AUV3
This is a high end app with some of the best sounds. Wish devs would invest more time in updates this year and make it Auv3. Would be nice to have all the sounds like i have with the desktop version. Desktop accounts should be allowed to have all the sounds on the mobile version since we invest so much money in this product. Its time to be able to use these sounds in Cubasis and Logic Pro for ipad. Dont throw away this awesome apps updates and expansions. Please!
It needs more sounds
Why can’t I use ALL of the sound packs for free? Why do I have to pay so much money if I want to purchase other sound packs? Also, it needs more sounds!
Crashes constantly with iOS 18.2.1
This used to work quite well. Does not seem to support latest iOS at all

Lost Money
Downloaded the Sampletank Pro for $65.. and I didnt get any new sounds added in my app. All the sounds are still greyed out. The company is terrible with support, you can’t even reach anyone to get this issue resolved.
Not usable anymore - abandonware!
IAA(inter-app-audio) has been phased out. You can’t use the sounds in Logic Pro.
