Samurai Love Ballad: PARTY

I didn’t think I was into otome style games, but gave this one a try and absolutely fell in love with it. It is quite relaxing after a long day. Some of the characters are adorable, some creepy and some spicy. The characters also have a good deal of depth and that was nice to see. Plus you get to learn a bit about Japanese history! For those of us who already know a little, it is fun to make comparisons between the story and actual history. The music is soothing and there is always something to do. Levelling skills, castle decorating, special events, tea party are a few examples. You can also interact with other players if you choose to. My only critique is that Samurai Love Ballad is an addictive game, and that can be a problem because pearls and love passes are expensive. It is quite difficult to get energy for skill upgrades and story completions often give you one pearl. So, spend 16 and maybe get 3 back. But, if you have the funds or don’t mind long waits then it isn’t an issue. Overall: Fun and enjoyable!

I don’t know why it took me so long to play this game because it is a gem. My hats off to the writers. The writing is top quality. Voltage didn’t plug names into a template and spit out the same old story with different names like so many others . There was a lot of creativity, research, and real caring put into each route/character. Each characters story is unique and touching beyond words. My favorite had me crying a river of tears, and I am not a crier. The art, omg…..again, absolute quality work. Each character has their own distinct look which matches their personality perfectly. In my humble opinion, the artists at Voltage are the best out there. The game is fun, easy to play, and does not cost a fortune, which is greatly appreciated; and because of that, I gladly contribute to support the developers so this game can keep on going. In summary, if you are looking for a game with art that will make your heart race and beautiful touching stories, then please try this game. Give it a chance and try one route, it will cost you nothing.

The app format is very easy to follow, and the tutorials are very helpful. All the stories are very special, the voices passages and art make me squeal! love these PARTY apps, thank you voltage!

I love it

I just finished nobunagas divine ending and let me tell u.... It’s SO hard to get me to like someone, irl and fictional characters alike, but in every way nobunaga is my literal type it’s not okay. He’s not perfect by any means and his character has such humane traits and that’s what makes him so amazing. Anyways, u know that feeling when ur finishing the best show and u wanna cry cuz of the pain in ur chest cuz it’s so good u don’t want it to end? THAT he hits SO GOOD I CANT and I wanna start another route now but the emotional wounds of vulnerability are too fresh. Anyways, nobunaga aside since men and personalities are subjective, I really like this game for a number of reasons; - firstly, the flow. The flow is relatively slow paced so it’s not running into things at all, nor does it go so slow it’s anticlimactic, and it doesn’t imply romance from the get go (which I think is super important for character and relationship development). The story goes at a realistic pace and the relationship between the characters is done well, which leads me to my second point - the relationship is realistic. Again, this is my preference and it’s ok to disagree, but in shoujo anime (assuming u watch anime), I really can’t take most of it seriously. The feelings people have are completely unrealistic, fast and dramatic that it completely ruins the plot not matter how good (generally). In this game there’s nothing dramatic or exaggerated, nor have I noticed dramatic hate between or towards another character for no apparent reason. - there’s multiple characters and stories to choose from. Though it’s kind of a given that you get a choice, I just finished my first story (out of 12 characters to choose from i think I could be wrong), and I got this game about a month ago I wanna say. This gives u so much variety in characters, plots and relationship flow which I appreciate. My only complaint about this app is that u get 5 love passes a day (which is a chapter ticket) which is fine, I played it completely for free and got the best ending so I’m not entitled to complaining, however sometimes I was able to finish a chapter in a minute, which wasn’t worth a whole pass. It just felt kind of anticlimactic to finish my daily portion of the story in a total of five minutes, but that was only sometimes. So either give an extra pass or make the chapters a bit longer. I love this game! So many characters to fall in love with and there is one or two of five or ten for everyone. But seriously... your April Fool's joke.... can that PLEASE become a thing! Kohaku and Haku are sssso sexy! Don't tease us so. If not, at least give me Tadakatsu and Yasumasa main stories please 🤗
