SanDisk iXpand™ Drive

This worked great on my older iPhones. The new app didn’t work. Giving this app a low rating since Sandisk is forcing us to switch yo the new app with the newer iPhones.

See above title. If you want to try something over and over with eventual success and more failures, this app will make your dreams come true. Why make something simple and functional when there is a great opportunity to make something frustrating and pointless? Why even have an app for a memory storage device in the first place?

Came here to write a review about the original app after learning it is going to be replaced and phased out. This app worked like a dream and was easily used to transfer large selected amounts of desired photos and videos over to a flash drive. The new app “sanddisk memory zone” will be replacing this one, which is a huge mistake for the new app struggles greatly you cannot simply transfer any videos or photos. It is a huge struggle, and you can only choose from albums. You cannot select large amounts desired, like the previous app did (this one). Don’t stop supporting this version of the app, get rid of the new and keep the old.

It did not detect scan disk drive

AAE it will put photos in this form so that you can never see them again. Not worth the money because when you think your photos are safe on the drive when you go back and look later, they changed the format instead of JPEG. So your photos are gone foreverbecause there are no programs to retrieve them.

literally non functional, thankfully amazon is lenient with returns cause i threw away the bos thinking "its sandisk, no worries to be had"... dead wrong, maybe its the product i purchased and it was a bad model but doubtful... avoid sandisk products

The app never finishes a back up, makes it impossible to complete backup of contacts, photos, videos. Complete disaster in terms of purchase of the USB drive because of this.

Garbage app, I bought a new Sandisk clans for older and on the compatible list iOS products that supposedly work with this drive and app, they don’t. Dollar store storage is better. This junk is buggy and full of errors and 9/10 times it won’t even move over a simple picture or 10 second video at a time when manually selecting. Full of errors and frustration as these products don’t work. They are shutting down this app and iXpand soon and the memory zone app is even worse and won’t let you use the iXpand in its current form. Take this garbage back to the store it’s defective and delete this garbage app. Sandisk is ripping off their paying customer with this buggy garbage. You guys are a “tech” company? What a joke

The interface is not that great and all of my photos are duplicated which would only double the amount of time individually unselecting each dupe.

So not going to buy anything with the SanDisk name ever again. Bought 3 of them now to find out there not going to be supported. What a waste of money on this company.
