Sanitize — Ad Blocker

GOODS 1. has potential, is a content blocker (YES, i want content blockers, NOT extension because those require more permissions to be given) however there are some parts that need fixing 2. becoming a supporter doesn't give you extra perks (meaning it's a free-to-use app, and you can choose to support them if you want which is good) NEEDS IMPROVEMENT 1. report problems button doesn't work so the only way I can express what is good and what is bad is through reviews 2. Please add a blacklist too so if there's specific links that I want to block or specific cookies I want to block then I could block em if I want Overall, I can see there's potential in this app. Please don't be discouraged :D

I tried another one but it kept me off of my AccuWeather would not let it run this one that's everything run smooth and faster thank you very much 🌞 Ps: Try This One It Will Do It For You If You No How To Use It Thanks So For So Good Thanks 😊 well app try this for two week or I recommend this for anyone download it leve settings alone and let it run Thanks…Ps: not barking abs and pop-ups anymore 👎😂🙈

Whenever someone complains about ads, I turn them onto Sanitize and the complaints stop. It works well and allows me to enjoy content without interruption or ad pollution. Lumcheesal-Georgia

After downloading and enabling in settings, the first site I checked had ads. Pointless. I’m gonna keep searching.

In macOS, I was looking for a good ad blocker extension that doesn't have access to websites content. I tried dozen including big names like AdGuard, uBlock, ABP... But few passed that test. From the few that lasted Sanitize It was the only that blocked not only ads but annoying "social" widgets. For Mobile Safari, no content blocker had access to websites content but the experience I had was so good I decided to give it a try and it worked as expected. Blocked ads in all websites I visited without making my CPU spike (check by seeing your iPhone getting warm). I find the UI a little ugly but since it works in the background its not a problem.

This blocked some ads, but almost tripled the cookies stored by Safari. Junk.

I had hoped to find something that would stop those annoying “Congratulations Amazon/Apple/whatever User” popups but apparently this wasn’t the app for it. Also, it seemed to work on regular ads but then it stopped working. Ads were everywhere with the blocker on. On to the next app.
