No one to report glitches to through Santander. Session Expired | Restart App then you’re stuck in an ‘infinite loop’, as someone else quite aptly put it, starting up the app without being able to log in another way!
Can’t even open the app anymore, just says “session expired”… stuck in infinite loop.
I have a lot going on in hospital I would even pay for straight nurses to come in and help us get back on our feet my immortal is so important to me as we should all have really need good food not horrible thoughts maybe perk tapes which could be it fingers crossed for hope that everything is good out there ta luv Lou xxx
It’s a basic app that needs further refinement. Can’t do what I need without it but it is rubbish.
Easier than using a pin device. But please don’t log out so quickly. It seems I have to continually log back in waiting for the log in screen of death as it secures the device. It then has more warning of fraud than you need of a regular user. Keep clicks to a min! Please fix!!!
Does nothing apart from authorising payments - ideally this app should set up payments too. Considering you need a keypad to access the online banking system for connect anyway, I don’t see how this is of any use really…
Seems the app always requires a restart every time you go to authorise anything. Still an improvement on keypad authorisation but some way to go yet.
It is unbelievable that in this day and age Santander cannot provide a full banking app like every other bank. This app completely supersedes your token in that you need to use it to login to your desktop online banking and you use it to authorise payments. It does not speed up the logging process as it takes around the same time as using your token. You cannot see anything whatsoever in the app ref your account e.g. what payments are awaiting further approval or account balance, activity etc. It literally replaces the token that’s all. The only minor advantage is you can approve payments on the move. However once activated it renders your token redundant as you can only use one method and to reactivate the token you must telephone Santander and ask them to so which then deactivates your app. If you have banking feeds / links to accounting software such as Xero it breaks the link and you cannot re-link Santander to Xero as the process requires the response code you get from your token.
Does one thing pretty well, a lot simpler than having to key in a number of codes using the keypad device. it could be improved by allowing phone notifications for when an authorisation is required, and if the app didn’t require restarting as often. It would also be helpful if it allowed more than one Company ID to be used, to allow use on more than one account.
