I love everything SBT does, and Jeff Hays is my favorite narrator of all time, but every time I use the SBT app my phone overheats to the point it won’t charge. I have tested it multiple times and closed all other apps and this only happens when the SBT app is open. I just don’t want the app to cause any damage because I want to use it constantly because SBT is amazing.
When ever I use this app my phone feels like it’s going to melt
Horrible app. Unable to find purchases even after contacting customer support. Their search option in the app also appears to be broken. If you type in an authors name you will get no results found. I love the voice acting of SBT but I feel like I am being forced back to other audiobook vendors because at least there I can find my titles and if I contact customer service I can get a human response and a solution.
I’m sure there’s some great other series in their library but once I am done with this series I will be deleting this app. It has repeatedly jumped past multiple chapters to the end credits when streaming episodes. I have had to restore the purchases on it repeatedly because episodes I had just listened to were asking me to buy them again. And before the I get a response from the app developer asking if I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I have and it hasn’t helped. But honestly this is not a good app even without the technical issues. Their search engine is not intuitive or and the app is not easy to navigate. The only this has two stars is for the content.
The app consistently heats my phone to a concerning degree. I don’t know what it is, but good LAND why y’all make my phone so toasty?
Not sure what is going on with the app, but every time I use it my phone starts to run really hot. To the point it’s uncomfortable to touch. I’ve tried closing every other app running, but it doesn’t seem to help. Was told heating issue was fixed, but it still makes my phone run extremely hot. I am literally running nothing else and I even reinstalled the app to see if that would fix anything. Nothing has helped.

I love the way that you can buy each chapter. That way if you don’t like the book then you didn’t waste much money and the audiobook quality is off the charts
