It doesn't show anything I scan

It has great potential but not very useful at the moment. A lot of common products are not listed. Whenever I try to submit a new product, it doesn't work. I tried checking the status of successful submissions but I can not get into that part of the app. It just kicks me out to the main page when I try. I think it needs improvement

First, why do I need to create an account to use this basic app? Second, there's no way to delete account once created. Third, halal/haram rating is available for 1 out of 100 products. Wish they had focused more on basic functionality of app rather than focusing on collecting user data.

It helps me become a butter, Muslim because to know if stuff has gelatin.

OK so this is to the person who made Scan Halal, look your app is great it helps me a lot but if you just had a place where you could search up foods that isn’t explorer area it would be great🤫🧏 I am mewing btw

When I first learned about this app back in 2018, I loved it. Although it had some bugs, glitches, and not every food item, I knew the app was just starting and that it could get better over time. Therefore, I decided to put my faith in the developers and buy the lifetime ad free version of the app for $9.99. 6 years later, I'm sad to see that not much has changed. The app still has bugs and glitches, sometimes even failing to open. There are still lots of items missing, and worse yet, they made the ad free version a subscription model WITHOUT grandfathering me in. I've tried contacting the developers multiple times, indicating that I purchased the ad free version and should either get an ad free experience OR my money back, however, they have yet to respond. Considering my experiences above, I cannot in good faith recommend this app. That's why I'm giving Scan Halal a 1 star.
