Scenic Tailormade

I deleted this app when COVID hit and now I cannot get the icon back on my phone. I have to go to the App Store each time I want to open the app. How do I get it back for quick entry

My only criticism is the amount of ‘background’ activity this app has. It uses significant amounts of mobile data and battery. I cannot see any reason for this app to be active - once you have downloaded the city & river guides. Obviously when you are using the app to listen to your guide (range is very good), it is active but that should be about the end of it. Remember to delete the app entirely once the cruise is finished.

Currently loading city guides. After loading 4 guides the 5th guide doesn’t seem to complete. The iPad screen goes dark and when I hit home button and restart Tailormade, the splash screen comes up and then fades out to black. No menu appears. iPad is 32% charged.

As of 23May the connection with guide is hit and miss. Guide insists it is using Bluetooth but phone shows wi-fi. Using an iphone 6 and only got connection once out of 20 attempts. All on board devices taken due to this issue so now planning all self guided tours as that feature works.

The app is new, significant issues with the tour guide section which enables you to hear the commentary from the guide, sometimes works other times doesn’t, often OK for smaller groups not larger groups. The other issue is that on a tour you often want to take photos, invariably this causes you to disconnect from the guide and having to the reconnect.
