This unique Interlinear Greek-English New Testament is easy to use. It is a new interlinear English translation linked to the Greek text and NOT a published book in the form of an app. Just touch any Greek word and it gives the English, or vice versa. Touch again to see all the possible Greek meanings with the correct one(s) in context highlighted. Browse all the meanings. You do not even have to be able to read or pronounce Greek.
The Greek meanings are from the modern and scholarly New Testament Greek-English Lexicon based on Semantic Domains, published by the United Bible Societies. All the Greek meanings are listed in 93 domains or groups of meanings, providing an accurate and precise meaning analysis.
The main editor of this dictionary, Prof Johannes Louw, was also the main translator of the ScriptureDirect Interlinear Translation. He was assisted by Dr Bennie Wolvaardt, Founding President of Veritas College International.
This is a super help for those who are studying New Testament Greek.

Great for people with prior basic knowledge

This is an absolutely faboulous app for people who already have learned some ancient Greek. Every word is connected to adetailed grammatical analysis and to an English translation, making it really simple to understand what is written and why the text is translated in the way it is.

Non Inspired Version

Not based on the Received Text from Antioch but rather on the corrupt text from Alexandria. Revelation 22:14 is telltale.

AMAZING APP!

This app has been amazing to use in my own personal Bible study, but also as a minister, this app has been a great quick resource to double check an English translation Bible to make sure my teaching lines up with the original Greek and is not based solely on an English construction perhaps not quite evident in the original texts. The only apps I use more than this one is email and maps! I can’t believe it’s free! Thanks so very much Scripture Direct!

Wow!

Really? This is free? A great app that gives you a very simple interlinear interface. And allows you to click on the words to get even more information like definitions and usage. Thank you, thank you! What a gem of an app. One minor teensy piece of feedback is that dark mode contrast is a little hard on the eyes. If you could make the main text lighter it might be easier to see.

Awesome bible study tool

This is such an awesome bible study resource unlike what I have used even the Mac version. I only wish it will be upgraded to support the recent Apple OS on the MacBook because I do my bible study there a lot😀

Best Greek to English manuscript app when debating scripture

Sort of...

Apparently only includes Gospels and Acts. Disappointing. Not sure why Apple wanted credit card verification for a free app...
