No wifi connection.
The wifi is useless with my iphone. I don’t carry a computer on dive trips. Totally unsatisfied.

This is by far the worst app I have ever used! The problems with this app are too numerous to put here. How does Sealife survive with this horrid app for a popular camara!?!
The app needs work as all the other reviews have mentioned. However, it does the basic task of reviewing the pics and video on a tablet while also adjusting settings and deleting unwanted files. I just use the usb port to transfer files to a pc.
The Wi-Fi transfer speed to my iPhone is incredibly slow, even when it’s sitting a couple of inches away. It takes ~20s to transfer a single 5MB JPEG, which is about 0.25 megabytes / second. Transferring 100 photos from a couple of dive takes half an hour or more. I’ve tried disabling Bluetooth according to the troubleshooting guide, to no avail. The Wi-Fi connection is unreliable, and transferring 100 photos will often take 3-4 tries when it disconnects part way through. The camera will turn off Wi-Fi if the phone ever disconnect, at which point I have to tediously navigate the camera menus to turn it back on & wait for that to complete. The app will crash every time when I reconnect to the Wi-Fi after it has disconnected, meaning I have to restart the app and turn Wi-Fi on on the camera an additional time. The app does not disable screen lock, and so I have to tap the screen every few minutes for the whole transfer to keep it from locking — because locking causes it to disconnect. When the app disconnects it does not offer any way to resume the transfer and I have to manually figure out how far through the transfer it got before it stopped. I can’t select photos before the thumbnail has been downloaded, unless I want to select “all photos” for a day. If I want to download more than a GB, I’m arbitrarily prohibited from doing so, and the “select all” function becomes useless. I have to select the photos I want to transfer, transfer them, then select them again, and delete them. It would be very helpful to have the app be able to delete the photos as they are downloaded, or leave them selected. I can’t switch to another app while it’s transferring or it’ll lose the connection, which is made much more frustrating because of the long transfer times.
What’s the point of downloading photos to the App if they’re then stick in the app and can’t be used anywhere or downloaded to iCloud Photos. Pointless app. It doesn’t take much to make an app that is useful!
It can only download one photo at a time on my iPad Pro. And it wont go into landscape mode when I turn the iPad. Very poor app, not workable at all. I thought there would be big improvement over the micro hd, but this is way worse than that app.
I had real trouble getting this app to connect to the camera on my iPhone (app on iPad worked fine). The issue on iPhone is that if cellular data is a active (my iPad does not have cellular) then the app tries to use the cellular data to reach out to the camera instead of the camera’s WiFi. Turning off Cellular Data in the settings for the SeaLife Micro 3.0+ app. But there was another issue that the settings for the app don’t always show up in the iOS settings app. My iPad, for instance has this issue (even though everything works on iPad as it is the WiFi only model). And on iPhone I had to delete and reinstall the app to get the settings in the Settings app. Other than that, the app does what it is supposed to do, though the UI is not great looking, but functional.
When it works, it works. But Keeps dropping the wi-fi signal and cannot download the files to mobile devices more often than not.
Updates with no noticeable improvement result in the need to pull out the stupid cord and plug it into a computer... vs simply downloading the photos lile I want to. Now I’ve got to fart with this thing for an hour or two.
