Accurate and Simple!
I've been using transit apps with Apple Watch support in the Seattle area for roughly 6mo now. If you're a daily commuter, Seattle Transit is the best choice for its quick loading and compact display of information. The ability to favorite stops, filter them to specific routes, and then swipe through their arrivals in the watch app shifts the focus off of route discovery and onto fast access to your most travelled routes. When using a low-power device like a watch, sometimes the simplest apps are the most functional. The only suggestion or addition I'd request is the addition of a "total minutes +delayed or -ahead of schedule" in addition to the ETA to determine which routes are backed up and should be avoided.
I have been using OneBusAway but found this app which supports the Apple Watch. The simple implementation of Apple Watch is perfect. It provides a simple list of buses at your favorited bus stops. Excellent for your daily commute. Also, another great part about the app is that the data provided by OneBusAway which I have found to be very accurate with bus arrivals.
