Secret City: London Calling

Du blir kallad till London, där ett mystiskt mord har begåtts. Men är det ett verkligen mord i vanlig bemärkelse? Eller har offrets själ sugits ur kroppen? För att kunna lösa brottet blir du tvungen att se London som det verkligen är, med de varelser som, människan ovetandes, bebor staden. Snart upptäcker du att en plan som kräver ett otal dödsoffer är på väg att förverkligas. Kan du stoppa det hela? Snyggt och välgjort. Bra story om missriktad kärlek och dess fatala följder. Snygga detaljer som att du kan få saker att hända i bakgrunden - utan samband ned handlingen, bara som en kul grej. Och när du byter scen, så ser du en kort stund vanliga London, innan SecretCity-synen kickar in. När du klarat ett minispel tar det en stund innan spelet fattar det, så ha tålamod. I slutuppgörelsen gick det inte att klara tredje delen i hard mode. Allt var rätt, men ändå ingen respons, så jag fick göra den i easy mode, då gick det. I bonusäventyret spelar du som sonen till huvudpersonen i huvudspelet. Sakir har fått sin medaljong stulen och nu hotas hela Secret Citys existens. Han behöver hjälp och i brist på din far får du duga. Men först måste du invigas i hemligheten. Sedan måste du förhindra att skurken får tag i de andra två medaljongerna. Även bonusspelet är välgjort med hyfsad story. Några av knapparna i lockpick-pusslet har riktigt dålig respons, åtminstone i hard mode. Även en del av de andra minispelen har riktigt dålig respons i hard mode. Vid ett tillfälle blev den i appspel vanliga slit-och-släng-kulturen extra störande. Om din fars bästa vän lånar dig sin promenadkäpp med guldklyka, inte sjutton använder du den till en grej och lämnar den sedan åt sitt öde? Kom igen nu! Och uppriktigt sagt, är det inte lite overkill att låsa in saxen i kassaskåpet? 😄

I love the games but this one, you can’t use inventory even when it’s there. It won’t move.

I enjoyed playing the game. What I didn’t like were the subtle messages i.e. herbicides instead of clippers, flares to scare bats, etc. In this day and age, it woulda been just as easy to send a more positive message.

It’s bad enough that there were already small glitches throughout but I get to the last scene and the whole thing will not allow you to complete the game- it’s just stuck on the man standing there with the green field around himAnd no way to move forward. When you hit hint it just says there’s nothing to do here. There are new tools there’s nothing. I solved the last of the dragon codes and it went to nothing so I can’t even progress to the bonus chapter. I would have to start the whole game over again..

Disclaimer: I am old and have previously only played Time Trap V.1. So, I found this game incredibly frustrating. I could not get a sense of where it was going or how parts of it worked. I visited some of the walk-through but left a bit more puzzled. I like the visuals, I would have liked to know more of the story but ... Any way, three stars just because I liked the look and the idea.

This is the fourth Domini Game in a row I’ve played on my iPad that has a major glitch preventing me from progressing. It’s been rough since the beginning as the Inventory Box won’t stay open - and keeps closing - making it nearly impossible to add items. But the main glitch is when I’m at the broken bridge. I’m supposed to use the Levitation Amulet - but the Inventory Bar won’t budge. I tried backing out and selecting it beforehand, placing it over the area .....but to no avail. Also -while at the bridge- when I press Hint - it doesn’t acknowledge or light up. This would have been a perfect place to incorporate a Skip button...to bypass the glitch. I’ve emailed the screenshot and issue to Domini Support. On to the next.....

Hammer disappeared at temple. I cannot progress. Closed and restarted game several times. Still nothing.

After wandering around for hours I thought it wasn’t allowing me to do anythinhg because I needed to buy the game, you have a worthless tutorial. How do I get the can opener? Are the items faded out because they’re waiting to be found. You certainly don’t help newbies figure out how to move around, I have yet to see a hop game but did find a match 3. I got to the river but there was no body, my jack worked but since then nothing else has, as long as you are giving line by line help, can you at least tell me how I get thr items? Some just go to my inventory and most just sit there and I am not past the first screen. I can’t believe I was stupid enough to pay for this game. I JUST WANT TO SHOOT SOMEONE IN FRUSTRATION, but don’t worry I don’t own a gun
