Just downloaded it and was able to add most of my seeds. I wish they had more herbs like rosemary, sage and lavender. I will update my review once I use it more

This is an awesome app! I hope there are plans to make it iPad/tablet friendly.

You created an iPad app that doesn’t work on an iPad. The application appears so small on an iPad that it is unusable. While this app looks very promising, it’s not for me or anyone else that uses an iPad.

Overall, I like the new Seedtime companion app, but there are a few things that could be added/improved to make it a lot better: • An app adapted for iPad — I have used the Seedtime app on my iPad a few times, but it is not adapted for the iPad’s larger screen. On my iPad mini, the app only occupies 1/3 of the screen and it is not easy to navigate. Adapting the app to better suit the larger screen of an iPad would be a welcome upgrade. • Crop-specific reminders and notifications — This definitely needs some improvement. Currently, the Seedtime app sends you a notification to check your tasks for the day… Seriously? Having crop-specific notifications (for example, “Transplanting *variety name* Lettuce Seedlings” or “Fertilizing *variety name* Tomato Plants”) would be very helpful, rather than a reminder to check the app for tasks. • All of the soon-to-come features that I pay $100 per year for — Custom tasks, Seedtime Weather, Seedtime Analytics, Seedtime Records, Seedtime Inventory, etc. All of these new features would justify the price I pay for a subscription plan and make the Seedtime experience significantly. Seedtime developers, if you are reading this, please take these ideas into account. Your program and app are great, but all of these things can definitely be improved.

I made an account online and then downloaded the app but it just has a tasks page, journal page and then like a menu page. That’s it. There’s nowhere to add a new crop or look at the calendar or anything. I’m pretty good with tech and I’ve clicked on everything but there’s just a bunch of search options to search the crops you’ve already put in but again, very basic and I see nowhere to add any new crops. Disappointing.

This is a perfect companion to the online version. Can’t wait to see more things added to the app in the future. It works perfectly for taking outside and seeing what needs to be done without having to check your desktop first. Still need to add crops and view the calendar on the desktop but this is great.

Very basic, just journal and tasks. Better than nothing. In this day and age it’s hard to believe that companies can’t develop both an iPhone and iPad version.

Seedtime cultivated my black thumb to a green thumb. I recommend spending a few dollars and upgrading the free account. You’ll make back the expense in grocery savings, also knowing you have beautiful organic produce in your own backyard!

Tasks, journal entries, and classes are easily accessible via your smartphone as well as on the web. All information is synced between the two platforms making it easy to keep track of your garden.

App is easy to use — just check off the task! Things are presented in date order, which is ideal (for me). Will continue to use it and look forward to any and all updates!
