Seek Thermal

No camera detection in iOS 17. Only crashes. App unresponsive Juli 2024. App is not unresponsive anymore. But still doesn’t detect my seek thermal. It does get detected on my Old iPhone X. But that phone is almost end of life

Cant use my thermal compact (€249) with my iPhone since iOS 17. Not happy about it.

So you buy an ir camera and the simplest & most useful software feature, set a fixed scale, requires different hardware? Eeh, i’d gladly pay for a pro app but not send the unit back, that is sooo environmentally wrong.

Er staat helaas niet bij dat je een camera moet kopen van 250€ om de app te kunnen gebruiken.

Cool hebbeding! Wel erg jammer dat je de temperature range niet kan vastzetten voor de Compact die ik heb (het autoscaled zelf). Handleiding zegt dat je voor die optie (“Span and Level”) de CompactPro moet hebben.

Mooi stukje precisie-gereedschap. Hardware 100%. App kon beter. Zeer nuttig!

I finished a wiring job on a new cabin today and performed some electrical load tests, using the Seek Thermal Compact I bought maybe six years ago for numerous thermal images important to the quality assurance of my work. I was using an iPhone 13, which shouldn't have been an issue. But the Seek Thermal app crashed so many times that I lost count! So if you see a growing chorus of complaints about this app, it might be a good idea to take both notice and corrective actions. Let me see an UPDATE, and MAYBE I'll consider upgrading to a new Seek Thermal Nano.
