There is a learning curve, but it works very well with my UT10P crew. One suggestion… I would like to have more US units when it comes to torque please.
Initially, it didn’t read the VIN, had to be entered manually. Then I’m told it’s binded by someone else. Contacted the dealer where I bought it, they had to contact Segway to have it unbinded. Now, it’s telling me the location of my unit 200+ miles away when it’s out in my garage. So much for the security of the app to keep an eye on it. Imagine if you didn’t keep it at your residence and it was stored remotely and you went to check on its location and you assumed it had been stolen. Oh, the systems gps and the unit’s center stack doesn’t sync the correct time. It’s still several hours off. However, it will allow you to select a 12-hour or 24-hour clock (wink)…
The app doesn’t work at all. We went to Colorado and the trail portion stayed we were in the ocean off Africa. Worthless app and UTV all around
First it didn’t read the VIN number. After manually entering the number, it couldn’t find the Bluetooth.. Connecting manually works fine but it seems impossible thru the app.
When the Fugleman UT10X’s debuted—I could change power steering settings for my customers on the machine from their App. After their latest updates, this is no longer an option. Basically all the app allows you to do is turn the machine on without your key, use the maps/download maps, but drains the vehicle battery significantly. Every time my customers want to use their machine, it’s dead. They turn it off, turn the kill switch off, and it’s dead in 12 hours. Switching from Eco to Sport mode makes no difference, and the power steering are locked and not customizable. I wish they would have bought a Polaris, Can-Am, Yamaha, Honda, Kawi—literally anything else besides this, but this is what they wanted to buy. The list of issues is unmanageable at this point and they’re extremely unsatisfied. Their machine has spent twice as long in my shop than they have been able to use it, and it’s been almost a year. Segway reps have no reply for their issues. Silence. SEGWAY—DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE MACHINES, PLEASE! Sincerely, a frustrated and empathetic Sales Representative.
The Apple version of this app does not work. Could not connect multiple iPhones and then tried an Android device, which connected right away and seems to work fine.
Phone will hook up to the machine via Bluetooth, but when I try to open the app, it says my Bluetooth is turned off. Feel like I am missing a lot of stuff by not having access to app. Not happy with it right now.
