You spend an hour or two scanning books, and then 3/4 of the books that were quoted a price suddenly disappear from your cart and are now "not being purchased." Bush league nonsense.

They apparently don’t sell anything because they don’t take any. Have scanned hundreds of books and they don’t take any of them.

I’ve been selling books on eBay for four years now with over 700 sales. 100% custom satisfaction. Four weeks after receiving my books, still no payment. Three inquiries later no payment. Threaten to give a bad review. Partial payments. Claim to have not received every book. My record Stands for itself.

So just to make this very short and easy to understand, its legit . they WILL pay you. I ONLY sold around 45+ dvds not books since they give an option to sell dvds / blue rays too! (and because the books i have are definitely worth more) i sent my package on 11/10/24 and just received my check today 3/18/24. took a bit but i did receive a check . ONLY couple of issues are the following, 1. When i finished scanning all dvd in the app my total came up as $88.29 but in the mail check i only got $86.43 not much of an issue but app issue i guess but still, the receiver should get all thats being issued to them. 2. When i mailed them my package they sent an email saying pretty much "we got it!" then suddenly "we only received 2 dvd" i was like HUH? but later on fixed it not sure if it was USPS fault or them but nevertheless i still got my money, 3. it just took a bit if they were faster with verifying my delivery etc then yeah cool, 4. sometimes i would have to double email the next following day to get a response.. so overall. Dont use if you only have a couple of dvd or books looking for extra side cash , you wont get as much but if you insist go for it! maybe donate them or look somewhere else. I'll suggest if you have a big hand full like me (like literally) to sell cus youll def get a good amount :) Good / Okay service will be sending more ASAP!!!! thank you SellBackYourBook!!!

I never received payment for the books I sent them. They sent confirmation that my books were received. I even received an email stating that payment was being sent to my PayPal account. However, the payment was never deposited to my PayPal account!!! I've also sent three emails inquiring about this matter and received ZERO response.

At least the scanner function gave me super quick confirmation that the offers are a joke.

The app seems to scan the bar codes most of the time, but trying to check out is a nightmare. It keeps saying there’s an error and you need to sign in again. Others complained about this issue a year ago and apparently the company either doesn’t read their reviews or they don’t care because it’s not fixed.

The scanner tells you how much you’ll get, then they send you half of what you’re quoted and tell you the books were damaged. They don’t send pictures of the books they aren’t paying you for, and they don’t send the books back. Don't waste your time on this app. They’ll take your books and run.

I was trying to sell some books to earn back some of the money I spent on them. I scanned on that was $17 and it was going to pay me 0.47 for the book?! The highest value I got was $2 for one of my books. They’re definitely selling these books for more and sellers are getting ripped off.

It won’t let you delete your account and the privacy policy “doesn’t exist anymore for this app”. Don’t know if it legitimately gives you money— they only take certain books for pennies on the dollar. They will only pay you out after $25 has been reached.
