I was looking for an app with a better user interface than Insight Timer. I have a meditation (Kriya) that I do where I need a noise every minute. Nope can’t set that here. Your option is one notification at 1:20, can’t be adjusted. Badly designed.

Simple but customizable. I'm using it everyday.

It seems like almost every day now when I go to check my meditation statistics, there are no meditations recorded for the day, which is not correct. I’ve also noticed that recently, the app quits. I will be meditating and then wonder why it hasn’t gone off. When I check it’s quit and reflects zero meditation. Disappointed as it worked well for a while. Not I can’t rely on it.

How about a iWatch app for it !

I really like being able to create four different customizable presets. You can set the times for warm-up, intervals, cool-down, and the overall meditation session. Each of these events can be customized with different bells, and the bells are all great. You can choose to make sound from other applications available or not, allowing you to listen to music from iTunes or listen to a separate white noise application, which is what I do. Personally I am also very glad that the app does not require me to establish an account with the company. I realize that some people enjoy social networking features, and so do I – but not in a meditation app. Your milage may vary. 😊 For me, this is a lightweight app that does exactly what it is supposed to do, no more and no less. I appreciate its minimalism; thank you for making it available!

Love this app but I wish it would sync between iPhone and iPad.i would also like the ability to have more presets

It’s not a bad app, but for an experienced Vipassana meditator that just needs a customizable timer that will log to the health app, this isn’t quite it. There is only one app in the App Store that fits that bill and it’s got a mostly brown icon. ;) Hopefully the developer will continue to update it because it’s been a little while since an update was released.

This app is super simple yet completely supports my meditation practice daily. I love all the features it has from setting length of time of my meditation to the different chimes available.

I have tried many app for meditation and so far this one is the best one I've found: preparation, intervals, ending and cool down times, chimes and bells to choose from, presets, statistics, and all at an affordable price.

Really good, clean meditation timer. The ability to create presets, the number of available sounds and the repeating internal feature are all fantastic. It's also great that you're able to incorporate meditation music from iTunes. The only thing that would make this app better is if at least some music could be incorporated into the app itself (like with Calm or Insight Timer).
