SetJetters: Movie Locations

I used this app all over Germany and Austria. Had so much fun collecting scenes, but had more phone walking through the towns I was in. I never would’ve seen some of the stuff I did without exploring the locations. The app took me to some cool markets or restaurants, and neighborhoods/districts will trying to collect scenes. Saw parts of Vienna, Munich and Salzburg that I probably wouldn’t have seen without using this app. Perfect for us Film and Travel junkies.

For the longest time, I would bore friends of mine who developed apps with “this great idea” I had. A map of locations near you where they made movies! We could call it Scene It or something. Finally, someone told me about SetJetters (better name). I love walking through history and that includes locations where they filmed movies. This app makes it easy and the community is friendly. My only issue is that I think it should be easier to upload locations you’ve been to in the past. Im sure that with time, more locations will be added. I love scoping out new locations on vacations and seeing what was filmed nearby. Thank you, Setjetter.

I love movie locations but also love how this app gets me out exploring new areas. So many of our road trips now are based around how many movie locations we can see. Thanks for the awesome app & keep adding more scenes 🎥

What a fun adventure using this app in my own city and on vacation to find movie locations. I really like for each scene you can learn more about the area and what it has to offer. The app is very interactive, makes family outings fun and I have shared it with out-of-towners. Great app for movie lovers!

Take this on vacation. It’s a great addition to your travels. Too much fun!

This app is very poorly made, if doesn’t even work. Nothing happens when I click on the tags on the map. I fully closed the app and restarted it and it didn’t help.

This is a great app to not only find where scenes from movies and tv were shot, but to also get out and do a little play acting and put yourself in the scene. You can search by movie/tv show or by location on the map. As a long time movie/tv buff, I highly recommend this app.

This app offers so much more than map locations of movie scenes. They added history and interesting points of view of the location you are visiting. They even tell you what else you can do while there and where to eat. Whether you are sitting on your couch at home or standing on a sidewalk in a strange city, there is fascinating information sitting in your hand.

The app turned out to be quite fun to explore my local city’s film locations with my family. Like interactive geocaching. I look forward to finding scenes when international travel opens back up.
