Shape: Lucid Dreaming

I am currently trying this for day two of my lucid dreaming journey and I may not have learnt that much already or had a lucid dream but this app is very useful and helpful and I bet on day 5 I can lucid dream so I recommend using this app even if it’s just to record your dreams!

I have tried lucid dreaming many times before and often I spend a month at it and only get maybe one or two short lucid dreams when I got this it helped me a lot I now lucid dream most nights the only thing I would recommend is that they remove the journal feature as typing down journal entry’s isn’t as effective as writing them

I’ve been using the premium subscription for over a month now. The app is nicely designed and has some good suggestions, however for the subscription price the features are quite limited: Approx 1 hour of guided audio content. A dream journal with basic text input and a ‘lucid’ button to signify lucid dreams. A basic achievement tracker of streaks of dreams recorded. One of the audio guides suggest a daily ‘target event sighting’ in which you list 5 sensory phenomena you hope to notice throughout the day, and when you do, perform a dream test. However given this is an app with all the potential for more sophisticated functionality than simply an audio guide form a CD, it would make sense to me to have this included as an interactive feature which presents a checklist that suggests target events at the beginning of each day, allows you to choose from a large list or add your own. At its current level of features, it seems mostly redundant to have this as dedicated app given most of the information could be found online and practiced with an independent note and checklist app, which it effectively suggests you do for some of its exercises. The guided content is the most unique and useful feature, but you would listen through that in a week to a month. I like the basic premise of this app but it really feels like it’s in a barebones, pre-beta level right now. I hope more content is added and an exercises integrated into the interface itself as I’ve paid the year subscription and right now feel like I’ve been a tad cheated.

This apps guides are incredibly easy to follow and informative and i highly recommend using it if you want to unlock the true potential of your dreams

I love the app!! I love writing down my dreams and accomplishments the goals. I just got this app a week ago and used it 3 days ago. One problem is, however, I’ve been consistently writing down my dreams for the past 3 nights trying to do active recall and when I wrote my dream down for the 3rd night it said my streak was at 1 dream now But I’ve wrote down my dreams consistently for 3 days

and great customer service :)

This is my first time writing a review for an app. I don’t want to make it too long, even though there’s so much to say, but I’ll try to make it quick: this app is brilliant. I use it every single day to keep record of my dreams, add dream signs, etc. I also listened to all the meditation bits and whatnot. There’s a paid version that unlocks more of the meditation bits and lucid dreaming guides, but there are absolutely zero drawbacks from using the free version, at least for my needs. There are also no annoying adds anywhere, which is a huge plus. Customer support is also probably the best I’ve ever seen before. I reached out and emailed Shape for some suggestions/questions and got pretty much an immediate reply. If you’re looking for something simple and supportive, Shape is your answer.

This app will help you progress deeper into your practice until you are so lucid you find the next teaching tool!
