Share your daily verse with friends or family you love. Pick a theme for your morning verse from a variety of verse packs: Calm, Inspired, Happy, Faithful, Motivated or Strong - each with unique verses matching its theme. Pick one pack to set a mood for your morning - or select any number to get random verses from all packs.
Shine is free to download with a Sample pack containing verses from each of the Verse Packs. If you’d like to support Shine we have a variety of subscription options that unlock all verse packs - choose whichever price you find appropriate!

Subscriptions pricing and terms:
Shine Bible Alarm offers auto-renewing yearly subscriptions for $9.99 / year, $19.99 / year, $29.99 / year and $39.99 / year, as well as a monthly subscription for $3.99 / month. All subscriptions provide unlimited access to all verse theme packs (all content) in the Shine Bible Alarm app for as long as you maintain an active subscription.
Payment will be charged to the credit card connected to your iTunes account when you confirm the initial subscription purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of renewal will be identified. You can manage your subscriptions and turn auto-renewal off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Best Bible Verse Alarm So Far

This is the most developed app I have found for a bible verse alarm. The only problem is it needs to be in the background when you set an alarm. But I don’t really think that is a very big issue but it would be nice if there wasn’t that need. More verses and different translations of the bible would be appreciated too. Besides that, beautifully designed, works very well and is a good replacement for the alarm clock app if you are looking to wake up encouraged and reminded to pray and seek the Lord first thing in the morning! Just like Jesus such as in Mark 1:35.

I just wish could alternate languages from English to Spanish.

God’s word is a great way to start every morning. Improvements needed: #1: volume adjustment as alarm is sounding. The preset volume is very loud or very quiet. #2 this apps battery usage of %50 in the background during sleep. 1 minute screen time in the last 24hrs is absurd. That’s on an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Huge battery!! #3 needs more entirety of scripture. So many people are missing out on the big picture in todays social media one liner verses which can be misunderstood or misused without context.

Music is ok. Would like more options on waking up modes. Several versus of passage would also be nice. Happy with the purchase!

It’s Garbage or a Scam

Had to click several times before it finally let me open the sample pack should program it better. Then you can only have 1 alarm ever and it keeps going off even when it’s not suppose to. This app was poorly programmed and they are just trying to scam honest Christians into thinking that it’s good!
