Ships Mobile™ is an integrated smart-application that allows drivers to submit trip, delivery, safety documents and driver documents from the point of service using their mobile device. Once submitted, documents are optimized for image quality and automatically entered into the billing and settlement workflow and other business centric processes based on your business rules.
Included with the application is the Learning Management Tutorial that is a self-guided tutorial that educates the driver on the features and functionality of the application prior its use. Now drivers will be familiar with the application before launching it for the first time. Also drivers will have access to the Ships Mobile Driver Portal via your company website. The Driver Portal will becomes the driver’s automated personal assistant. It keeps the driver informed of needed documents and cut-off or expiration deadlines along with pending and final settlement information. The assistant will monitor the images received and alert the driver to missing or late documents or to re-image documents that failed quality audits. Ships Mobile solution can be configured to capture various documents such as OS&D or compliance documents including CDL, insurance and DVIR. What better way to keep your drivers informed, increase your retention rates and increase profits!

Hot fix broke more than fixed
Must now have full access to gallery instead of selected items.
New problems
Words are cut in half and hard to get edges in place. Old version was better for me had no problems with it.
Update Ruined this
Prior to the update I had zero issues with this app ever since update it won’t let me login and when I can login it won’t let me access the driver portal and retrieve my settlements. FIX THIS!!
Worse
I thought an update was suppose to make an app better not worse. The circles for lining up a page or document are very flimsy now cutting off part of the the document.
Stuck notifications
I have 10 messages stacked up that never get marked as read no matter how many times I read them
Lousy system
Why is it that after batch received, after being paid for for the batch, after dismissing the batch it remains on the phone. I have 20 months of dispatch, 20 months of received paperwork, 20 months of missing paperwork. If the company needs it, if ships mobile needs it then they should keep it. Once I’m paid I don’t need it on my phone taking up space and slowing it down
It just stopped working!
I get the notifications when I receive something but once I click on the notification I can’t see any updates. Incredible!
Absolutely horrible
It’s difficult to grasp that it’s now 2023. I graduated college decade ago and software for businesses just couldn’t be more ridiculously useless. There’s no practical reasoning for users friendly for truckers. Load information is ridiculously chaotic, just a huge dump of verbiage that truckers are supposed to decipher and organize for practicality pertinent to business performed sometimes many times a day. I took screenshot of app for load information to my dispatcher. He was stupefied at how horrible the word dump was on load information. I hope and pray someone with more than 3rd grade education can make this app organized and practical for CMV freight. Also recently weigh station cops did DOT inspection which FMCSA DOT requires said inspection must be sent to safety ASAP, but the app doesn’t even have this option.
