Shortwave Broadcast Schedules

Most things i DX then use this app for information about a station is not even on the app, making it useless.

I have been using this app for a few months with my shortwave radio and it really compliments it well, it took me a few goes to really work it out, I need to say at this point I am new to sw listening, but when I find a station on my radio I can enter it here and it tells me who it’s is I’m listening to and where they are and the language. It really brings my listening to life and makes it more exciting. I would certainly recommend giving this app a try.

The last update for this app was six years ago! and you can tell…… The app opens in landscape mode only and has never been update to fit the bigger screens of modern iPhones. At the time of its last release you would have been using an iPhone 7/8 if you were using the flagship at the time. More fool me for purchasing the app.

I emailed the develop and he confirmed database continues to be updated automatically.

Clock is out by 12 hours, I’m getting the schedule for 0654 and not 1854, which is the actual time! Please fix!

Unfortunately an app like this is only as good as the information it uses. While the app itself looks excellent and has some nice features the broadcast schedules are really out of date. For example it doesn't have Radio Romania's latest frequency changes. The latest SW schedules are A19. Such a shame as the app does exactly what I need but it's as useless as looking at last night's TV guide to see what's on tonight. I hope the developer will look into this.

The software is has an old and primitive interface but it works ok. The data contained in the app is useless. In the 2 weeks I've been SWL, not a single weak station I've come across has been listed in the app. Thankfully there are good websites available via Google, just searching for the frequency is usually enough. If the data was updated in this app it would be worth 3 stars. As it is, I've used the iPhone feature to save a website as an app which has a far better database than this. Strongly recommend the developer retires or updates this app.

Just what I needed for an overseas trip to locate English language programmes. However operation is not that intuitive and a more detailed help file would be useful.

This app has comprehensive coverage of stations from ELF to the bottom edge of the VHF part of the spectrum. It is regularly updated. Search facilities are good with plenty of info available. A very useful app deserving a five-star rating.
