It does its job
I’ll turn down the sensitivity so that it doesn’t pick up shots from other people and then it won’t pick up my shot’s. If I turn the sensitivity up far enough to pick up my shots then it goes off for EVERYBODIES shots.
I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Software Version 18.3.2 Premium version of the App. There no beep sound coming out from the count down timer. It looks like the developer is not maintaining the App and updating it along with iOS updates. I’m going to have to request a refund for the premium upgrade. Without beep sounds, the App is not useful.
Just price it for sale if every feature is locked behind a paywall. Waste of time.
I can’t give it 5 stars because the lack of Bluetooth support means I can’t use it at the range. Please fix this!
Basic but Solid app. Trying it out in drills to help my saber fencers get off the line quicker and with more fluidity. Needs to be louder though. It is hard to hear and the audio doesn’t adjust with an adjustment of the phone volume so that needs addressing
I got the free version but was inundated with ads. Almost to the point where it was unusable, but it did work for one shot. I got the premium version and just like 90% of the reviews out there, it was very unreliable. I would start the drill and it would either terminate the drill unrealistically fast, or it wouldn’t pick up the shots at all. I tried adjusting the db sensitivity, but it just seemed to make it laggy. I would reset the app and it would work for a few minutes, but then the same problems kept happening. Save your pennies and get a real shot timer.
Only downside I’ve experienced is it will read a bolt action load as a shot.
I was using the free version for dry fire practice. Timer would not pick up striker click. Free version does not allow microphone sensitivity adjustment, consequently, could not adjust the sensitivity to see if it would pick up. It would not even record loud handclaps.
