This app enables you to replicate the feeling of reading a book/magazine with details like page flipping animations and being able to place the left page on the left side so the 2-page displays look like they were intended (note that this is not an explicit feature of the app but something you can achieve if you play around a bit). 👍

Only seems to support Dropbox? I never granted the app access to mine. Doesn’t appear to allow you to add your own local files to the library

In an era of tacky, cobbled together apps and avaricious devs of dubious talent, SideBooks and its developer are a beautiful exception. A lot of love was put into designing and developing this e-book reading app and it is a joy to use. It is one of the few apps that has not been crapified after Apple began prioritizing quantity over quality in its AppStore and gave app developers the ability to double charge customers for apps they had already bought and paid for and to charge premium fees for extremely poorly designed products. High quality apps designed, developed and sold by independent developers are almost non-existent in the AppStore today. What’s even more astounding is that SideBooks is *free* and of higher quality than most apps that charge a monthly fee. I bought the add on but would gladly pay the devs for this excellent product. Best app to read manga. It would be great to have an interface more "recent" and to be able to use keyboard commands. Excuse me for my bad english

Please add night mode. This app is best for reading pdf in iPad and even in iPhone. Its like iBook on steroids, fast, smooth in both 2017 iPad Pro, 12.9” and 2012 iPad 4, 9.7”. It has an amazingly useful feature called ‘trim’ to utilize the maximum display of any screen size. I have so many PDF books, this app lets me add a book cover. Whoever made this, a salute to you guys for such thoughtful yet simple app. This app is bringing the old reader in me. I just love to see my collection of PDF books all organized with cover and all that. Now I only use iBooks for ePub. Japanese products are awesome. Best regards.

This App is a graphic novel readers best friend. Easy to transfer from computer to my iPad via drop box. You can zoom in as close as you like and still navigate from page to page with ease and without loosing image quality. Lots of other options make it possible to experience graphic novels the way they were meant to be. It's been my favourite for a year now. Thanks for continued updates and keep up the great work!

Can you hide the status bar while reading the book?

Love the page flipping animation, and the option for two page display when shifted sideways. I would like to have the option to view different pages in different orientations within one file eg first page is vertical, second is two pages together...I would like to be able to crop one without the other getting cut off). Other than that I love reading on it! Not sure what all the preferences are of though (the smallintervals vs wideintervals doesn't do anything as far as I can tell).

Works with all my cbr and cbz files. I like the page flipping animation and the ability to change the cover that is displayed on the shelf. But i stopped using sidebooks because once you have a lot of comics its hard to see what is what. I think there is a way to group them though. The main reason i stopped is that its picky with some files, sure i can fix them so they arent corrupted. But some are displayed as being 2 pages when its only one. Other apps dont do that so i switched
