Nostalgia not there
I’ve spent years playing Silkroad and wished always to see something like this come to mobile market, however my experience lasted about 15 minutes until I uninstalled, since everything is being done automatically and you just watch character being played by automatic script. That itself would be not so bad since you can disable this feature, but as someone who wished to immerse into already known universe of Silkroad I was welcomed by locations that are only named after old ones, storyline and weird animations that are not in the original styling. Of course there is some resemblance to the original but it is more inspirational. 1:1 port of the game with some tweaks regarding touch control would be the best idea to make it happen for old players. This would not be easy, but otherwise game will be targeted only for newcomers. In the end this is maybe a good game, however not if you want to experience the original game.
