Simple Call Blocker

Just a thought for you. Initially after installing the app I was unable to enable it as the Call Blocking and Identification option was not showing as a phone settings option. After some googling I managed to find out that you need to turn on within Tracking, Allow App to Request to Track. Once doing this the Call Blocking and Identification option was visible and I was able to enable simple call blocker. Possibly the instructions / splash screen needs to include this information. Other than that app works just fine Hope this will help other users John

Worked great on my iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 16. I upgraded to a 15 Pro and iOS 17 recently and although it says its loaded and working correctly, numbers on my blocked list have been getting through. I couldn’t find any way to contact the developer to submit a bug report so I’m leaving a review instead. It’s a 5 star app when it works, so I gave it 5 stars in the hope that it will work again soon.

Manually blocking people is made more convoluted by the existence of this app. It has no block lists - you have to do it all yourself.

It is a simple call blocker. Just works, no fuss. The ability to block a range of numbers is very handy.

Not sure where the developer got the validation rules but the app exclusively allows advertising numbers from Vietnam. Telemarketers from Vietnam use the phone number +84 28 8889 xxxx and the app doesn't allow to block them with the reason of invalid number.

Not sure how it works or if it works all? Tried a few times to make this app work but haven't succeeded. So i haven't bothered about it since!!

Does not appear in Call Blocking and identification settings

I tell all my friends to install this app. It does exactly what it says it does. It's one of the first things I install when setting up a phone.

simple and effective for blocking ranges of all the spam/scam calls we're getting in oz

Spammers were calling me from all but the last 2 digits of my number, so installed this and blocked that 100 number group and 3 hours later get another spam call from that blocked group of blocked numbers. The app had no errors reported, so as far as it could tell it was working fine. However it wasn’t and didn’t block the spammer.
