It’s fine—some limitations and frustrations
I love Simple Practice on my desktop. The app is limited in functionality (which makes sense in some ways, no one needs to be carrying their entire client files in their pocket) but two things annoy me. First—please for the love of all things holy, fix the calendar issue where if you set/move appointments and place the item block at the hour, it never gets set at the right time. The app makes it seem like you should be able to use it like any other calendar app and where I move the calendar item is where it will be scheduled. It’s always 15-30 minutes off in some direction. Second, it’d be nice if it was easier to see when a client’s next appointment is/if it’s already scheduled without clicking through a ton. I need to know at the end of session if we already have something on the books or if I need to be scheduling. Could I look that up before session? Sure. Do I always have time to do that? Nope. I’m in the app at the end of session scheduling the next one, so that’s where it’d be helpful to have the info.
