Sketch a Day: prompts & tips

I thought this app could be better. The prompts are terrible. I thought there are some people mainly “Jesss” that easily accuses you of copying even though its not true and there are too many rules for an app that should be just for fun and enjoying your creativity. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this app at all.

It is a grand thing to be invited to make something out of a word .

I love this app so much! It’s definitely my favorite app, the only thing I suggest is that as well as the topic section maybe you could add a non topic section were people can post their own ideas? I love that the app gives you a topic every day but I think it would be cool if people could also post their own ideas. I would really appreciate if you added this to Sketch a Day. Thank you 🙂

This is such a good app and I love it!!! There isn’t anything I don’t like about it. My drawings have improved and I’ve drawn things I would never of thought of. One thing I would love as well as my friends is if you could see how many people have favourited you. Thank you Sketch a Day so much for this awesome app. EJKittyKat

The new update was very lack luster and you are not able to upload the daily prompts without ads taking over and see can no longer see the recent art from others as you were previously. I sent a message to the customer support just to get an message back from Tom telling me to delete the free app if I was so unhappy. Talk about a letdown I’ve been on the app for a couple years and have really enjoyed it up until the recent update, figuring that I would reach out to support and they would give some tips to manage the new system and to be told that I’m not worth anything because I don’t pay and delete the free app, dear Tom, that is not the way that you do customer service

Joined to improve/sharpen my illustration hand skills. Getting a daily random subject to illustrate is a great way for me to unlock my creativity. Drawing every day is helping me to hone my skills and style. Additionally I set a 30 minute time limit for myself to push myself to work rapidly. Love seeing the creativity ways others around the world interpret the same subject matter, being able to Like and Comment on their work makes for an overall positive community. Exactly what I was looking for!

My daughter found this community. It has helped me greatly. When I lost my father I just seemed like I couldn’t paint draw or anything. My anxiety has gotten worse but the prompts really help. Great art therapy truly

This app is a great way to extend your range of art study. I’ve spent most of my time studying anatomy and perspective, so when I was prompted to draw an oven, though I wasn’t too stoked at first about drawing an oven, the learning process was a lot more fun than I imagined it would be. Definitely recommend this app to anyone who has a hard time figuring out what to draw or at least anyone willing to learn to draw anything. PS…I NEVER leave written reviews, THATS how much I appreciate the concept behind this app

This app helps me focus on my art work and details more and being a part of something then feeling left behind in the world we live in.
