The app initially recorded row sessions, but not now. What’s the point of having an app if there is no support?

Didn’t upload to Strava, doesn’t show splits. Useless app, just a gimmick really

I enjoyed using the Skill Row app at first but now week after week it doesn’t register my sessions, times and distance. I’ve called the support team on a few occasions but nothing is ever done. It’s not reliable and that’s a shame. You set a goal for the week and it’s very disheartening when you realise that your sessions haven’t been registered and have been lost on the app.

The App is rubbish. Doesn’t keep track of your sessions. No point entering challenges as your efforts are not logged. This app hasn’t been updated in 4 years so no point in reporting the issues as they unlikely to be addressed.

Used app 3 times. On 2 occasions the app disconnected the rower 1/2 way through and messed up my times on both. You would think that for £4K you would get an app that works 🤷‍♂️. The rowing action is actually ok but the lack of memory on the display and the faulty app makes this a poor cousin of the concept.

Can you guys lengthen the time it is allowed to pause for please? If I stop mid row for water it doesn’t/won’t resume if I’m longer than a few seconds… Archie

The app has some very useful video tips on how to row correctly, however the video work out videos are annoying when it plays audio in a foreign language.

Tried to use it twice so far. First time app crashed during my last work piece and lost all info. 2nd time wouldn’t connect to the rower (possibly because I was trying to use my my Polar m10 heart rate monitor?) so couldn’t use the app. Absolutely useless and combined with a performance monitor on the skill row that is so sub standard and loses all the data shortly after you finish rowing. Please look at Concept2 and their PM5 on how a performance monitor should be, and how it should integrate with any Apps and heart rate monitors people generally use. 1 start because I can’t give 0!

This is a case of smart tech that doesn't work i row concept 2 and unfortunately my gym has this annoying rower. Everytime i try to do a work i end up getting of the rowing and smashing the heavy bag as im so mad. Just want yo do interval training not too much to ask and it flips out every time you rest. Anyone thinking of buying one of these over concept 2 absolutely no chance. To put it simply it doesn't f&£king work

Just come across a glitch - Not all workouts are always logged. I was completing a pre-set workout when I was interrupted and stopped for a bit. I resumed the workout but the message screen was frozen on the app. The rower screen reset and wasn’t connected to my phone- I lost my completed workout. Otherwise, no problems with the app and think it’s great for motivation. In response to the comments about interval training - in the app there is a whole workout section for interval training, and you can programme your own in the personal workout section pretty easily. Try just row for other stuff.
