Skills for Amazon Alexa App

I found nothing that actually does what it said it does.

Hi, I downloaded the app and was hoping for at the minimum it would help add some value to my Alexa Devices. I have everything from a echo dot, to a echo show 8. WELL I gotta say without hesitation, this application is FANTASTIC , as it has so many eye-opening tips & tricks that truly make your Alexa Devices more fun, educational and entertaining. I'm a pretty technically guy, and figured I'd understood what the Alexa devices do. Now, after getting this application, I'm being schooled every day. I just learned about the coolest Screensaver I ever saw that with this app you can enable it on and device with a screen. Just one more little thing, the customer service is as good as it gets. Fast and responsive. That's why I give this application 5 bright Stars.

The pop up every time you changed screens does not work for me.

Each new skill runs the same ad for Audible and you must wait for countdown, problem is I already have Audible. Other then that it seems like it has some good information.

Amazon specifically said DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP! They HACK your amazon account and use your credit cards,camera, and even make calls. All Alexa skills can be found in your ALEXA APP! THESE APPS ASK FOR SERIAL INFORMATION TO STEAL FROM YOU!

In order to get new “skills”, I have to delete app and reload. Annoying Fortunately the developers have fixed this bug! Way to go!!

I don’t trust this one. After setup skill, I asked to download pdf which I never got in email. 2 other skills never loaded. I use ios12... & iPad gen6. Real amazon app works. That is the blu app with white almost closed white circle.

What a joke! Every navigation a full screen add pops up that you have to close to continue!

I opened this app for the first time to investigate and understand its function. Every single time I looked at a skill, closed it and tapped on a new one, a full screen pop up came up and I had to close it before I could research. Far too annoying. Don’t advertisers realize when we are bombarded with ads, we don’t read them? And I noticed all the 5 star apps have little one line comments leading me to believe they are not real reviews. They also seem to be on the same day in June...huh...So, this was the first time I opened an app and deleted it within 5 minutes. My mom was recently diagnosed with dementia and is living with me. I have far too much to do and I’m trying to determine the best way to use Alexia to help myself and her. This app is not the ticket!

Looked like it might be useful but after install all I get were pop ups that I couldn’t close every time I tried something. By the third kill the app and restart I’d had enough and deleted it. Waste of time
