Customer service can take hours!
UberEats, DoorDash allow you to cancel orders within the app (based on valid reasons) - Skip does not and on busy nights, It can take upto 2 hours for skip customer service to pick up phone or answer chat. The driver is basically stuck with the order on their screen for the amount of time. Last time I called the the recorded voice says wait time is less than 2 mins but I was on the online for 2 hours and 18 mins and once again I need to get an order call called and I’m waiting for over an hour. They should def hire more staff to answer chat/phone and allow cancellations by drivers through app.
