very functional, slightly ugly
Could they color code the objects highlighted in my observing list list by object type? Or at the very least make the color different than the meridian line and zenith/altitude lables? very much an eye sore

The best astronomy app for serious amateurs, but needs to improve widget and general iOS functionality….
Love the ease of alignment of my tracker with your app ☝️👌✅🌎
Does everything you could ask for in an astronomy app including telescope control and eyepiece previews. It's also beautiful.
With one of these star gazing apps, in 2024 a person can look into the night sky and exactly what they are looking at. This app makes exploring the night sky a neat experience for the kids.
Would not recommend this app. After years of having the SkySafari Pro, and it’s constant prompts for me to upgrade, I finally decided to upgrade to the sky safari plus. I spent two hours trying to enter my preferences in my information into the settings, I prompted into settings to show planets and it did. Now they’re gone even though the setting still indicates that they’re showing. It took the better part of an hour to try to figure out how to get the time to be correct to my current time. I finally found the setting that it thought I was for some reason in England. Once I got that changed, it finally set it up to my local time. But the sky did not adjust. I was sitting there, looking at Orion about 30° above the horizon, but the app was showing me it was about 10° below the horizon. All of the planets have disappeared from the view. And I turned off the marketing settings and yet every time I open the app it’s trying to get me to upgrade to the premium version. Do not recommend this app and if things don’t get better, I’m possibly going to delete it.
Really hoping to enjoy this completely different than the six version not overly happy
I have had to “repurchase” it a couple of times after installing an iPad update. They should at least offer a much reduced price.
A nice app. I own previous versions and bought this to support the developers, even though I rarely use it. But why is the Mac version still stuck on version 6? Version 7 for iOS has been out a long time., so maybe I should have waited.
I bought this software to talk to my LX200 GPS scope using my Meade Stella controller which I believe is the same as the SKFI device. The Stella app is no longer available on the Apple Store and quit working with the latest IOS update. I can get Skysafari to connect ok to the Stella but it errors out with “the scope is not responding”. I went thru all the community comments but could not find an answer to why it is not responding. I triple checked all my settings correct. So I try and put in a help ticket but that just refers you back to the community page. There no where on their website where you can email for tech help. No where to phone for help. This developer wants you to buy their app but not back it up with tech help. It looks like there is very little traffic on their community page so I don’t expect an answer from that. Very disappointed in the app and would not recommend. Waste of $20.
