Very best website for booking the tickets

Great App but needs an update

I love Skyscanner but the flight options have not kept up with the airlines. There is no option for ‘Economy Light’ or Basic (without luggage) so when searching ‘economy’ option you always get the ‘‘no baggage’ price and there is no option to select standard economy with checked luggage, so the price displayed is very rarely the correct price for holidays requiring a proper checked bag.

Skyscanner does not save your bookings the same as booking.com or other apps would so therefore I will have to give it a low rating

Update.

Much harder to use since the update, Been using Skyscanner for years and found it really easy but now it’s a lot easier to go straight to the airline companies.

Inaccurate prices + email spam

The calendar and search often show totally wrong prices. Often it’s doubled by the time you get to the purchase stage on the provider website. Also the fact they constantly ask to join their mailing list, I say no, they send emails anyway.

Crooked

Pricing algorithms drive up price as we search. Regular cleaning of history proves this gaming.

I have used this site many times and cross referenced costs with sky scanner and hotel booking sites , I can’t get any near this sites costings ,

Amazing if…

I absolutely love this site. I travel a lot and book travel for others a lot and have found it has the best prices 90% of the time. My only constructive criticism would be to add a feature that allows searching for flights with flexible dates while keeping selected filters in place. Currently, you have to choose a specific date first and then apply filters, which can be time-consuming. For instance, if I want to fly to London anytime in March 2025 and need a direct flight that departs after 10 AM with a flight duration under a certain number of hours, I’d like to see prices for all dates that meet these criteria. It would also be helpful to extend this feature to price notifications. I’d love to set up alerts that include a date range and my preferred filters. For example, I want to be notified when flights between a range of dates, with my selected criteria, drop below a specific price. This would make it much easier to find the best deals without repeatedly entering the same search criteria.
