The "List" is a companion app for Slash, the desktop productivity machine. It helps add, edit and organize tasks while on the go and save for later. Get them ready for slashing sessions when you are back at your keyboard.
Slash Desktop Features:
Hyper Focus
While you work, your current task stays pinned to the bottom of the screen.
Stay in Flow
When the task is complete, get a ‘winning’ GIF and choose to take a break or start the next task.
Smart Sorting
Mark new tasks as Urgent / Important / Difficult to automatically sort them for maximum productivity.
Seamless Sync
Need to use other task management apps? No problem. Add any number of synced lists from Trello, Asana, Todoist and more.
Pomodoros
The GTD technique of working for 25 minutes intervals with 5 minute breaks.
And much more. Make sure to get both apps for full work flow.
Enjoy slashing your day!

No clear way to get from “today” screen to others (“Later”, “This Week”, “Done”). Can send a task to one of those times but no way to see it there / get it back. Would otherwise be a perfect mobile companion to the amazing desktop app.
Stopped working
This app has stopped working as of two days ago from the time of this review. If the app actually starts to sync with the Desktop version I will update my review. But right now this doesn’t work at all.
Where is the iPadOS version?
I love this app on desktop and in my opinion, it is hands down the best app for showing my to-do list who’s boss. That said, there are times when I want to have it open on my iPad so that I can see what I need to do during the day and the iPhone version is not cutting in. I would happily stop paying for Todoist right now and give that money to Slash, but I need an iPadOS version before going all-in on it.
Ransom
I liked the app, but not the bad form shown by the developer, which locked me out without warning when I hit the limit of “free” slashes. At that point it was a sign-up-or-you’ll-never-see-your-uncompleted-tasks-again ransom note. Thanks guys! Hope I remember them, but I’m forgetting you.
That’s the kind of obnoxious sales tactic that makes it easy to decide against giving you money every month. Don’t get me wrong. I subscribe to many apps when the value is good. I don’t expect a service for free. But I don’t like the way you do business.
“ReSeT pAsSwOrD” every 2 seconds.
If you log off of the non-functioning desktop app, you will have to create a new password after typing in your email twice, and go to your email for a link to open the app and make a new password, then try to begin “slashing” but then you come to realize it does not work. So you go to mobile, maybe that will work. Yet once launched, it asks for your password which you just reset 4 times. You type it in and it says invalid, yet there’s no reset password function on mobile and you can’t click the reset password button link on your email since it only routes back to the desktop app. I used to use this on my mac, and it’s sad to say the early beta of it is the only one that works. What a launch 🎉
Love the essence
Why in heavens sake we have to sign in on the web 😩
I love it
I think the magic of this tool is that each task is its own. The timer gives me a sense of urgency and the simple today list helps me crunch through my day. Maybe adding subtasks could make more complex tasks easier to break down? I also love making personal daily sprints with this app. Please keep this around 🙏🏼
Mobile app severely lacks desktop functionality...
You can’t Slash tasks on mobile. In a world that has gone mobile, this app has little to no features of its desktop big brother.
The mobile app needs timer function to see how long tasks take you, even if it’s a modified version of the desktop app.. It also needs an iPad app. I also couldn’t find an email address for customer support on developer’s website.
Slash List has the potential for greatness once the mobile app can be used independently of the desktop app.
No way to export or do any extending or sharing anywhere
Not on desktop. Not on mobile. Not any sort of mass editing or any sort of thing.
Otherwise the premise is amazing and even just basic exporting would have me sold and I’d pay.
Take ALL my money once this works
I LOVE the desktop app but not all of my tasks allow or need me to sit in place to work, so I wish I could use the app life like the desktop on the go.
Or customize list better on this app.
