I read through the articles and paintings everyday morning with a coffee on the table, it becomes one of my favorite rituals in the morning. Images are of high resolution and pleasant to eyes. Hope will have multimedia contents. Hope more oriental artists especially Chinese, Japanese paintings will be included. Also you would add painting medium for the search function. Thank you.
La qualité des images est superbe, juste dommage qu’il n’y ait pas les informations de base en dessous des images (artistes, titres, date, taille,source ) dans la version gratuite. On peut retrouver le nom de l’artiste et certaines info sur la période,style en consultant les tags. Super cool pour l’inspiration, juste faire attention de prendre en note le nom de l’artiste pour faire une recherche rapide sur google. Les titres contiennent des blagues sur les œuvres et des emoji. La version payante est un abonnement au mois ou à l’année.
Magnifiques illustrations. Idéal pour l’enseignante en arts que je suis auprès des adolescents. À quand une version en français?
I paid for the unlimited over subscription and there is so much content that 95% of users will never use half of what is available. No bugs/runs smooth on iPhone 12.

This app is my personal space to decompress and be cheered by beautiful art and the history behind it. I am still catching up with the navigation which is a bit confusing to me but doesn’t detract from the enjoyment. The subscription is worth having and I am happy to support the work that brings beauty into my life.

This is a great app for learning about art history in an engaging way. The articles are not too long nor too short for daily lessons. The only reason I hesitate to pay for unlimited access is poor proofreading from time to time. For example, the Le Nain brothers article has the sentence “But why wouldn’t their complete the image?” in large italics. I might still buy the app. After all, art people aren’t English majors like me. Unfortunately, I can’t give the app 5 stars.
