LG tv controller app

I cannot believe that I paid $25 for this almost useless app. There is no point to it unless you may have lost your actual remote control. The biggest negative for me is that you cannot turn the tv ON with the app……you an turn it OFF , but not ON. You don’t get a trial period, you either buy it or not, your choice. Not a good purchase…steer clear in my opinion.

Downloaded the app and even paid a week subscription and still couldn’t use all the functions on the app. 👎🏼

Some good controls … but networking?

The App gives access to some useful controls - e.g. subtitles and service provider apps. The standard remote buries many of the basic features and pushes their advertising ahead of basic functionality. But the biggest problem by far is the network connection. I run a simple home network but the App frequently fails to connect. This should not happen at a time when networking should be a mature and reliable feature of an App

It’s a great app but only one problem

Everything works fine if u get this app u need to buy to use it. The one problem is I can’t turn my own tv on I can only turn it off
