Wake up mode won’t save alarm. The date is wrong in app.

I am writing this review as a hope the developers will address this bug, but also if you are here looking for answers. It took me some time, but I figured out how to get the alarm going. 1 - Create the alarm. 2 - Set the time. 3 - Save the alarm. Great, now every time you make one modification, the alarm time should revert back to like 23:47. You can change the alarm time again, but every time you enter the alarm settings, the time will revert back. You can always make your changes and change the time last. Also, the keep warm function doesn’t work.

DO NOT BUY SMARTER PRODUCTS!!! They will not answer email or chat for any issues you may have no matter when or how often you try. The company and their products are horrible. You have been warned!

Please bring back the options greater than 40. (I maxed out at 120.) I work from home and use it all morning. Apparently this hasn’t been fixed. It’s back to 40 only. Guess I’ll be looking for another coffee maker.

The app does not save changes/my preferences. I have to update them everyday. Very annoying.

So with the new iOS I now have a regular kettle with no support for the app…

I have the iKettle. The kettle itself is great & I was so excited to be able to use all of the helpful features, however the app is TERRIBLE. It is constantly changing the settings back to default and not saving settings after I change them and randomly no longer connecting to the kettle. If the app doesn’t work, then it makes purchasing this particular kettle completely pointless.

You use to be able to leave the timer on longer than 40 minutes to keep your pot of coffee warm. This feature has now been capped out at 40 minutes. Why? You guys made a product and have absolutely no pride in it anymore. Removing things and making an app that is broken.

Let’s start here - I own the iKettle and it works pretty well when it works. There are very few if not any smart kettles on the market. I’ve owned this kettle for a bit over 6 months. There are a number of problems with this app: 1. Setup is problematic. The BlinkUp tech is flaky. 2. Celsius to Fahrenheit has issues 3. Some controls just don’t work - hold temp, etc. are broken in my app 4. Lack of SmartThings, Hubitat, or HomeAssistant integration 5. Wonky IFTTT 6. Issues with loss of communication between base and kettle 7. Problems where app and login get corrupt and app crashes on launch My two cents.

🦠📲👎⭐️ It is a beautiful app with bugs and lacks an important feature. The first bug is that it does not save the “Temperature Format”. In my case, whenever I choose Fahrenheit and then exit the app (and swipe it up to stop it from running in the background). The next time I go in the app it is back to Celsius. The second bug is the “Desired Temperature” is not saved as well. It’s great that there is Siri Shortcuts for everything (start, stop, heat to multiple temperatures) except for heating to your desired temperature. Is the point of the iKettle to heat your water to your desired temperature easily? These bugs and big feature overlook makes the device not simple to use. I’d change my rating to 5 stars if these issues get fixed. 🦠📲👎⭐️
