Ads lock user out many times. They’ve started using gambling ads which appear to be worse. I now have to restart the phone to get the app’s ad off the screen. Seems like they could do a LOT better. But the one stop multi- source news app is a good idea and works well, ……. Until u get nailed with their ads 😕
When I select see less of a certain site or news outlet it doesn’t work!!! Why even have this option when it useless!
There are way too many ads that won’t let you exit until their ready. This is ridiculous! I’ll look for news elsewhere.
I really like this app and use it 10 times a day
these gambling apps just keep popping up and you can’t get them off your screen and sometimes you have to actually shut your phone down and reboot to get rid of them. I’m really getting totally disgusted with SmartNews and thinking about just dumping the whole app. I’m so tired stupid apps I don’t want trying to force their way on to my phone.
I’ll just keep writing bad reviews then. This thing has become awful. Mixed in ads that are repetitive. Full screen ads that make you wait and find the ‘x’. Half the news posted is junk. And now I can’t see my saved articles. Your lame. Read the goddarn room. The executive team should be fired.
Terrible 2-3 minute forced google ads really annoying just find another source for news
Used to be good, but they now push an ad for $MASH that takes over your phone. The ad is animated, and changes all of your open apps to landscape view. The only way to stop it is to force close all apps.
The frequent pop-up advertisements for games on the SmartNews app have become a significant annoyance. Each time I click on an article, I'm forced to endure a 10-second game ad before accessing the news. It's frustrating to have to sit through these interruptions when all I want is to stay informed about current events. This needs to change! And sometimes the game videos would stay logged in and you cannot log out making the SmartNews unusable. Guess how many times I had to delete the app from my phone because of these annoying game advertisements? 10 times in a week!
Love it!! Keep up the great work! Love your app for: -it’s great colors -way to get info fast in quick format Ways to improve: -improve accessibility for people with physical, mental disabilities; such as blindness. Don’t know how though
