SmartSizer - Measure Clothing

I tried to use the app on a mens T-shirt, I measured the item 1st myself with a measuring tape, aside from the fact that the app basically wanted me to take pictures on the floor which I don’t know a lot of people who are doing that anymore but I guess there are still some, it was super inconvenient considering we take pictures on a board that is an angle at waste level so trying to hold my phone in the air to get the stupid dot into the center of the circle while I can’t even see the screen because I have to hold it so high above my head just to get the right angle which is a completely off angle of the shirt…. It was super inconvenient… and I noticed the first measurement specifically the pit to pit was 3 inches off. Then I tried to retake it and it was 5 inches less than it was the first time, so 8 inches inches off…. The third photo I tried to take of the same shirt came back as 5 inches bigger than it was… and the fourth photo was 2 inches smaller than the actual measurement. So, in conclusion, the app doesn’t work very well and it completely wasted my time.

App is great when the clothing is on the floor. If its on a flat lay board that's not on the floor it will only want to measure your feet.

Very disappointing. The measurements are way off and it doesn’t catch everything. All it does is create more work.

Great idea, but I recommend testing carefully. I don’t know that this is accurate enough for me to use. I measured, adjusted, and remeasured pants and a simple t-shirt. Came up with varied results. The inseam was off by as much as 2” and the waist was accurate. Adjusted and the waist was off by 1” and the inseam was finally right. I used a high contrast background, centered and had good lighting. Afraid it’s not consistent enough that I can trust it.

The sizing can be a bit finicky if the contrast between the clothing and background is poor, or if you don’t center the clothing in the middle of the screen, but once I made that adjustment it’s automated all the measuring I have to do for posting on poshmark. Overall has saved me a ton of time and hassle. 10/10!

Great for small or medium size clothing resellers, very accurate and pretty straightforward. Would love if the developer implemented ability to measure different and more things in the future. But this was exactly as advertised!!
