Do not buy any device for this app. This is the only app I can find that works with the cloud box m2. Unable to connect to my solar controller, it was working fine. Then all of a sudden stopped connecting. Now I have to replace my mppt controller. Do not recommend. Developer updates are non existent. Bugs and glitches.

I’ve had no problems using it , so 4 stars. Would be great if the (param) “load settings” were clearer about what they do . Nothing mentioned in the instructions either . *****Edit *****to my original review . It’s stopped working as others have mentioned. You can see it’s online but get an error message when you click on it .

It just stopped connecting. I have tried everything, updates, restarting the module, reinstalling the module…. I’m very upset because this is a remote installation.

App often never connects

The standard battery cut-out voltage parameters are set too low (at 11.1v “battery under voltage”). The correct value is about 12.06v, which will stop discharge at 50% capacity. With this app, the MPPT is allowed to run a lead-acid or gel battery down to such low levels (5% charged) that it will quickly destroy them … after only a few cycles. Unfortunately, you cannot change the low-voltage cut-out values. When you try to change and save the values, in the app, they simply return to their previously dangerously low levels. This is really disappointing. Such poor design defeats the whole point of having a charge controller in the first place. The prime use of an MPPT is to protect your batteries, but this app helps to destroy them. I’m sure that it must be an easy fix? Please fix it before too many peoples batteries are destroyed.

Is there a way to add a temperature control to turn on the output when the battery temperature reaches a desired temperature. Then turns off when it hits a lower level. As I have a pair of high powered 12v 4A fans ones sucking cold air in. The other blowing hot air out as the mppt controller is in a box outside that’s exposed to the sun and it gets over 40.c coz at the moment I’m having to manually turn it on or off I tried a dedicated thermostat but that packed in due to the output of the mppt isn’t regulated as it goes up to 14v on a 12v system. Apart from that it works like it should

It can’t connect to the app anymore, wifi Module reset but still : failed to configure network???

Cloud box shows it’s online and connects but has now stopped connecting for no reason with this app ‘ the device failed to connect’ Must be software bug???why no version 3.0.4 version for iPhone? Very frustrating

Since last update today, the values are not updating periodically. You have to click the refresh button. But happy that the app is still for free and running. Thx

Die App funktioniert seit 18.05. nicht mehr, es können keine Daten abgerufen, oder auch keine Einstellungen aufgerufen bzw. verändert werden. Kein Support per E-Mail, keine Informationen vom Hersteller. Meine Solaranlage spinnt seit dem Ausfall und ich kann nichts einstellen. Laderegler sind von Vervor (esmart3) und per Cloud Box M2 verbunden. Diese App ist steinalt und der allerletzte Schrott!
