SolarWatch - Inverter Widgets

This app is really great. I’m obsessed with checking how my solar is getting on and when I discovered this app I was delighted that I can now see my solar from a glance at my AppleWatch! It’s brilliant! It’s my favourite app on the AppleWatch.

This is a brilliant app which fully integrates with the GivEnergy api so you get realtime data on widgets and even on the Apple Watch. Most recent version has ensured that the watch complications update regularly which is brilliant when it comes to keeping track of what your system is doing. Highly recommend!

This is a great little app, gives me all my GivEnergy solar information without having to carry my phone. Customer service is great too - if you have any problems, give them a shout and they are quick to help - thanks loads

Well worth £3. Get the GivEnergy usage all through the widget and on your phone. Superb bit of kit. Well done to the developer for knocking this up as the GivEnergy app is riddled with functionality glitches. Five Stars Well deserved

This is a really useful little app, handy for keeping track of solar generation, home consumption and battery level on your phone or watch. When I had it as a complication on my Apple Watch, it disappeared after an app update. Daniel was really helpful in working out what had happened, and helping me to get it back again. Thank you!

I really like did like app, it was a single one time purchase and I reviewed it as such. However since the initial purchase a subscription service is now required for full functionality. Having read other the developer’s responses such as ‘the cost doesn’t cover the apple’s developer fee’ just doesn’t cut it for me for the service offered. It’s a shame, I’d have much preferred a more expensive initial outlay rather than a continual payment for what in reality is limited functionality. I really want to support small developers but changing over from a one time purchase to a subscription within three weeks of the initial purchase comes across as unfair.

This is not a one time purchase, this is a subscription model which charges between £2-£3 per month. Why charge to buy (download) only to insist on a subscription. It does state in-app purchases but would expect that to be for enhanced functionality not for it to work!!! Refund requested instantly as this is basically a con / scam!

Such a great title app. It’s so handy to have my stats available at a glance on my Apple Watch. I don’t have a GivEnergy EV charger yet, but any chance a future version could show stats from that too?
