Somfy myLink

I was sold shades for 10k in 2020 that run on this app. So frustrating. Constantly losing connection, sometimes I need to wait for 10 seconds for it to connect, sometimes I need to plug-unplug the bridge. Sometimes a reboot of the router fixes it. I am never going with somfy again. Look at this, last software update was from 2years ago. Really?

The unit has stopped connecting with the app and there are no contact numbers or email addresses to find out if this $250 device is salvageable!!

This app could use some rework. It will send you in circles. I’ve spent hours in updates, resets, and attempts to pair my shades using the somfy smartphone interface. Even simple things like deleting a shade is maddeningly difficult.

Also, the RTS does not work well. Every so often, a shade or two does not respond because it times out. I have numerous repeaters and rooms in a large house, but the home screen has a fixed number of zones that you could put in it, and the screen will not move, so if you have one more icon that does not fit on the screen, you can never use it you can never find it difficult becomes difficult to recommend for that purpose also the RTS does not work well every so often a shade or two does not respond because it times out

Really irritating

It worked great in the beginning, now wheel spins for minutes before the app connects. I usually have to end up manually closing my blinds. Maybe the app needs an update :(

Functionality is horrible. UI is horrible

Very inconsistent operation. Ive been using the app for 3 years and Ive run into numerous connectivity and data storage issues. Hand held remotes work every time flawlessly, but the app is a hit or miss proposition

I constantly have to delete the app then reinstall and reprogram the whole app to my pergola again. This is by far the worst app ever. It works once or twice then stops working completely. I spend more time uninstalling and reinstalling than it’s worth. I cannot open or close my pergola nor do the scenes and schedules work. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE AND FRUSTRATION FOR SOMETHING THAT IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE LIFE EASIER!!!!!

The app is slow to load. Setting up the scenes doesn’t work, nor is there any logic to set up it up IF you can set one up. My lovers on struxure pergola essentially don’t open and close as their supposed to. Customer service is non existent Not sure what else to say.
