BuzzCards is an app designed to help deaf people communicate easily with people who don’t know sign language. The app works like a deck of flashcards. You type the message and show it to the person with whom you are communicating.
You can write and save cards with the messages you use the most. For example, “Where is the restroom?” or “Where is the nearest bust stop?” You can also make or edit cards on the fly, as needed. The cards are organized by category - for example, “Dining” or “Travel” – to make them easy to find. There is no limit to the number of cards you can create. The BuzzCards app makes face-to-face communication simple; just type it and show it.

intuitive communication app

I love how large and visually pleasing the font is. Works way better for communication with non-signers than the Apple Notes app. Though me & my Deaf friends really don’t care for Sorenson, I’ll use this app of theirs. Wish they’d acknowledge that the FCC rules DO allow ASL-fluent hearing individuals to apply for, receive and use videophone numbers that do not connect to VRS. Most of my ASL-fluent friends are hearing without speech disabilities.

Sorensen Buzz Card app needs to be updated

I cannot download the Sorensen Buzz Card on my iphone 14 Plus. My ipad downloaded the app & whenever I open the icon, the app shuts off. Can you upgrade the Sorensen Buzz Card app asap so deaf people globally can use it? Thank you.

Updated on 3/14

The app updated on my phone and now it won’t open. I’ll see the first opening screen then it shuts off. Looks like I’ll need to reinstall the app which means I lose all the data I already have

Not working anymore.

So disappointed to see this app not working anymore since November. Any updates? This is most useful app until now. Please get it fixed. I’m giving it 2 stars because no one bothered to follow up since the last IOS update as the reviews indicated. Get on with it please.

Loved the buzz cards until I ungraded my phone

I am so disappointed!! I loved the buzz cards on my old iPhone 11. I had to upgrade my phone and got a iPhone 14 and the app don’t even open. So frustrating!! I really wish they would do an update on the buzz cards. I used it frequently as I can speak!

Won’t work

I’m sad as I use this frequently to communicate and now It won’t work for the past two weeks. Please fix it 😱🥴
