Soul Land: New World

This game is fun but there are multiple down side to this game. 1. This game is a bottomless pit once u start cashing it will continuously make u wanna pay for more as event after events come in and to maintain ur ranking u will have to pay. 2. The game classes are very in-balance there is classes called Haotian hammer and Qisha sword and with the same stats as other classes they will do more damage by 1.6-3 times higher then other classes and basically the whole server only this 2 classes is used and they wont do anything about it. 3. The game play is alright but sometimes there are events that are extremely unfair to common players for example the dragon king event the top player a guy who spend 10k usd will kill all the other players who are trying to attack the boss, i think this is alright as he spend so much money on the game but the problem is that the true boss spawns 3 times a day and u can only get the reward once so there is no point in attacking the boss 3 times as it is a waste of time but the top player will be there for all 3 bosses so no one can get the last hit reward except for their sect. 4. Divine contract event the same reason as third but this one even more unbalanced. In the event u get to adjust the setting of the boss and make it strong or weaker, if u set stronger boss u get more point and this is a team of 10 event and there will be 10 people in each ranking for example rank 1 will will have 10 people occupying it. The outrageous thing is that u can participate infinitely with multiple teams and the top player will help his entire sect to be in the top 20, so except from top 1 which has 10 people occupying it from top 2 onwards u will see 1 - 4 people on each ranking and sometimes even only 1 person. The reason why i still give 3 star is because the story line, graphic and gameplay is good.

Best mmorpg

I’ve played more than 5 Soul Land IP related mobile games for a super long duration, all lasting from 6 months to 2 years, and this has thus far been the best. This reminds me of Genshin Impact yet on an IP I am super in love with. This game holds so much potential in keeping all of us in it for a good few years if they expand into the God tiers and eventually soul land 2 content but as of now, so many supporting characters with interesting background has not been introduced yet!

Devs are hiding in the games getting maxed limited companions and items once it’s released during events. Events are endless, every 3-4 days new event requiring spending $800-1000 just to compete. Totally not f2p friendly. Game is also poorly translated and mostly catering to Thai players.

This game is a huge time sink. Daily grind (dailies, mutant beasts, team trials, etc.) takes 4+ hrs. Server S1 community is toxic and dominated by hardcore grinders and big spenders like the top Chinese named sect. 🗑️

I’m a huge fan of beautiful mmorpgs (Perfect World, Lineage, Aika made my youth), and I did not expect Soul Land — let alone a mobile mmorpg — to be as good as it is. I knew nothing about the IP before starting to play it, but fell in love with the characters and am now watching the show. It brought back the love for gaming I never thought I’d feel again since 2013.

Purchased a pack and error message "Couldn't find a helper at this time" and my creditcard (CC) was charged but i did not receive the gift pack (*2nd time happening*, this never happened to my other games, MLBB, HoK, Genshin Inpact, etc). The 1st time i let it go as i enjoyed the game and didn't want my account to get suspend/banned due to the refund process i experienced from another game, which also charged me double to my CC. Contaced CS support, no one respond, didn't know why this option was created/included when there is no support. F2P yes, for P2P, think thrice as this organization need to work on payment gateway/system so that you don't get double charged. Right now, i can only just wait for "Miracle" to happen for the refund, which seems unlikely to happen. Will just take it as a "charity and donate" to this organization.

As the number of new servers open up (about 1/day), the lesser and lesser there are of actual active players in each older ones. Lesser players are joining the new servers too, such that they almost seem like a ghost land. Dailies take >1h and can be exhausting, esp if you wanna maintain your power level against others. All in all, it just seems to be dying.
