Does not do what it says
You can create your own board but then it won't save it!!! So that is pretty useless. Good for the premade boards but if you want to make your own, forget it.
Great aac app to try with students
I like this application. You can edit your own boards, link between boards, share boards using email... Since you record your own voice, you can use this app for any language. You can use the pictures of the application or your own photos. What I would suggest for next updates : being able to erase the pre-made boards if we don't use it ; choosing a default board the application open with.
Sounding board has lost it's simplicity
I also am discouraged with the update. It does not present all the choices for layout at the initial screen. I cannot figure out how to choose a layout for a simple board. I will probably delete this and look for another. PattySLP
Sounding Board
I was excited to download the update as my son uses this app to tell about his school day at the supper table. I am very disappointed and now wish I hadn't. The editing function format is unfriendly and small. I didn't update his old iPad sounding board so we are using that one instead. I'm wondering if we are the only ones feeling this way:( love the app, hate the update
Could be better
It’s a great app and my non verbal son can use it but it would be barter to be able to have a way to log in and save the boards across several platforms. Because when I add a picture now, I have to find allll the other devices and add it. No convenient.
Has potential to be awesome
I love that you can use your own pictures and voice, but unfortunately every folder I make the changes aren’t saved. I’ve tried redownloading the app etc. not sure why my files aren’t saving.
Log in feature
Great app! Super useful in the classroom with nonverbal kids however I wish there was a log in system put in place so everyone could log into an account and have all the same boards. Would be perfect for the parents to continue using at home and super helpful we don’t have to make the same board 3 times on 3 different phones. Thank you!
WONDERFUL. Worth a try
This is well worth downloading, and trying out. have been looking for so long for a free app, that gives a genuine chance for review before purchase. This is the first one ever. THANKS SO MUCH. This allows to explore the app’s capability, but more importantly to explore the user’s capability before spending money or being forced to subscribe, which not possible where I work. Efforts like this deserve support.
Edit lock does not work
When my student touches a picture, it takes her to a screen to edit that picture even though we are not in edit mode and edit lock is on!
