Sounds True One

The journey has begun. It’s exciting.

I was hesitant to buy a subscription to Sounds True but it’s been a fantastic journey. There’s so much access to different teachings that anyone could find a connection to what works for them. For whatever reason I don’t follow people which is both good and not good when confusion sets in but without fail I get what I need to hear. After 4 years of wondering about the desert dying and feeling completely forsaken the teachers appeared! Thanks Tami for remaining open and letting this oasis spring forth from within this dream most call life. ❤️

Not fit AT ALL for IOS. Unresponsive, unreliable, can’t get through playback without stopping every 3 minutes. Useless.

This is a review of the app itself, not the content. I have purchased material before from this company and was surprised that this time around, I was forced to use their own app instead of the music app on my iPhone. I really wanted to use the Music app on my phone because it is where I keep all of my materials and it is also easy for when I am driving. I contacted the company by email several times on this topic without a single response. I eventually called them and the person who answered the call had no knowledge whatsoever of the app and was unable to help me. The app will freeze constantly and not restart. When it is working, you have no indication of where you are in the material. No chapter is mentioned. it is also somewhat dangerous in the car since you cannot view it from your screen, only on the phone’s screen itself. in essence, it is like the music app without all of the useful features and the ease of use. It feels like my purchase is being kept hostage, as I am only able to use it through this app, something that should be illegal.

Good sound quality. If you like the offerings & can afford the subscription, there are some awesome folks offering a variety of insightful Productions.

I loved Tami Simon before…but now? She’s the most delightful, beautiful human. And the gift of her work…priceless. Loving every minute I get to spend with Sounds True One.

Nearly impossible to use because the audio turns off if you switch screens or the screen goes dark. The reviews suggest that the developers have known of this issue for almost a year and not attempted a fix. Who would buy a membership for this frustration?

As I develop my own spirituality and meditation practice, sounds true one has been an anchor for me. As I find my practice I can dive deep into different modalities and meditations to guide me. There are also wonderful programs that deepen your spirituality practice. I highly recommend!

the help button is truly unhelpful. It is hard to find replays and there is no way to speak to a person. Sadly disappointed.

This happens whether you close your phone, move to another app, or your phone goes to sleep. It is painful that a MINDFULNESS app makes you CONSTANTLY TOUCH YOUR PHONE in order to keep listening. Miserable and thoughtless design. This isn’t you tube. And you tube is at least well designed enough that your device doesn’t go to sleep while you are trying to listen.
